This was the ability/talent elite Kiss lineup, and that includes the time with Eric Carr, God rest his soul. I regard Carr and Singer interchangeably because they were both wonderful drummers and a great fit. With no disrespect to original Kiss, because I love the era that started it all, but Kulick and Carr/Singer were superior musicians to Ace and Peter. Kulick was the same generation of player that Ace was, but he evolved from 70s guitarist to a very well-rounded 80s guitarist, learning and incorporating an appropriate amount of "shreddy" techniques to hold his own with the new generation of players, but without scrapping his authenticity and becoming a mindless walker. And when the Revenge era hit, he went back to his roots more. He was the total package, and a consummate professional who stays faithful to the fans to this day. Carr was a similar story -- of the right age to be a 70s rock drummer but open to new styles that included double bass drum use and more "metal" grooves. I do not believe Kiss would have survived the 80s with such a convincing transition into 80s hair metal if the originals had stayed. Not that I don't love the Catman's swingy grooves or Ace's "Keith Richards on steroids and cocaine" approach. It's all wonderful in it's own way. But this era was a kind of "real" that longtime fans like me miss.
I miss Kulick. Dude was an absolute gem in KISS.

My favorite tour that I saw. Best drums, best drum tempos finally! Couldn't stand the sped up Eric Carr years. Set list crushed.
But you can't blame poor Eric - He was doing what G&P asked him to do - speed up the tempos to match the 80's thrash bands.
Love Paul's look at the windmill mishap at 27:42 😂
The Revenge Era was one of the pinnacles for KISS , next to when Destroyer came out.Sound and attitude was amazing for Revenge.
This is when they were still a rock band.
This album should've been mega but grunge and over rated Metallica who I still don't get or listen to was too big back then.
Fantastic Set List!
The tightest they ever were as a band. Glorious
Helluva rock show. Wish I had been there that night, that was a f'n party.
I know very few of these songs, but this is an excellent concert. All of them are at the top of their game.
This was the pinnacle of the Kiss line-up!
Amazing Concert. I Love Without All That Makeup. Paul You Are So Beautiful❤
AND YOU HAVE VERY GREAT MOVES IN DANCING. SO GREAT❤
Wow absolutely great love kiss there so good always have always will be outstanding great
Eric Singer. Es un bestia 🔥 💪 en esta época guapos todos Eric Singer Paul Stanley Bruce kulick y Gene Simmons ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for the upload. This was awesome!!!!
I like the bit when Gene breathe some fire during Firehouse and the other bit when the Statue of Liberty’s face crumbles, revealing a robotic skeleton like the Terminator during War Machine! WOAH!!!!! 🤘🎸
I love Firehouse so much that I spend eras to listen to it again only to get an impression that it's my first time listening to it. I love it loud!!!
They were so good at this time...
Man, what a slamming show! Musically their best line-up, with interchangeability between the Eric's. Have seen then with Tommy Thayer a few years back, solid and admittedly a different type of show, but Bruce Kulick is the best musician the band ever had.
I was at that show. Awesome !
I can see that this is the pre mix and not getting a good cut from here but it just shows you what the tech guys go through show to show
Sin duda q gran época.........
Good lord they were insanely good here
i lived pretty close to this venue, but didn't know this concert was happening 😢 I did end up seeing them in Saginaw though 😅
Wonder what caught Paul's attention at 1:07:09?
Best lineup could sing and play everything. Need a soundboard of this line up.
Alive III (an official live album) was recorded with this line-up on this show and a couple of others... and it sounds really good.
Check out "Revenge In Dayton" or "Kiss: Alive 3 & 1/2" bootlegs (available here on youtube), they're 1992 and 1995 soundboard bootlegs respectively, and are, imo, the best kiss soundboard boots available of the post makeup years
Man kiss just got better and better with every album nonstop. Wish they had put more albums on the 90s. Revenge is greaat
You clearly have zero clue! The next album they put out was that awful Carnival Of Souls! Psycho Circus might not be great but it sure as hell is the better album of the last 2 90’s albums!
@@GNewcomb-q9v those two were too bad that i dont even considered them as albums xd. My mind completly overpassed them.
The video quality from those days compared to now is unreal. Gives a whole new appreciation for 4K or even 1080p as for Kiss, I really loved the Revenge era.
Bruce, what happened?I have to admit it,Gene Simmons & Paul stanley, keep the wheels turning & burning during the lean yrs.Thank you two Rockers for doing that.Kiss has been my favorite band since 1975.
That was the second best band, great guitarist!
Did 32 years really pass that fast?

También conocido por su personaje teatral, The Demon, es el bajista y colíder de Kiss, la banda de rock que cofundó con el cantante y guitarrista rítmico Paul Stanley a principios de los 70s.
74 AÑOS. (75)
I saw this tour. Good set list, but I missed Black Diamond
I swear this video was titled kiss revenge in Detroit uncut lol, this show was a great show and was the first show recorded for alive lll. Hope someday we can see the full Indianapolis and Cleveland show from Nov 28 and 29 1992 the 2 shows after this one
Great times too! I graduated in 1992! Kiss was huge in my life! Metal in general. Now? It's all gone.
Bruce's guitar tone👌👌👌
Happy 30th anniversary Alive III!
1993 to 2023
This was the ability/talent elite Kiss lineup, and that includes the time with Eric Carr, God rest his soul.
