How Russia Drives Poles Against The LGBTQ

- "It's burning, it's burning!" chanted Polish nationalists in Warsaw, watching an LGBTQ flag burn during Pride this month. If you search "Poland anti-LGBT" on TH-cam, you will find a large number of homophobic videos from Poland on the Russian-funded Ruptly and Sputnik channels.
Researcher from the Wilson Center Nina Jankowicz found that this is because Russia is fuelling the homophobic narrative in Poland in order to further divide their society. This and other examples of Russian information warfare is what Yankowicz's new book "How to Lose The Information War" is about.
Hromadske journalist Maria Romanenko spoke with Yankowicz to understand how and why Russia is doing this.

Russia is not the one who drives poles against LGBT, it’s the poles themselves who are against it. Such bias: blame Russia for everything, even though They have done bad stuff to Poles. But remember Poland is a very Catholic country, while Russia is an multicultural, multireligious, and a orthodox Christian country (with many muslim ethnic groups) which is stricter towards LGBT than Poland. So just because many Poles protest against it doesn’t mean that Russia is behind it. Leave the bias elsewhere.

Poland isn't influenced by Russia; far from it, we oppose Russia (you would know this if you read a history book). Poland is very religious and opposes alien forces that have plagued it.
Opposing Russia while the West Tries to turn the whole world into a sh*thole is like arguing with that one cousin you don’t like, while theirs a zombie apocalypse going on. So a bunch of small towns made resolutions to "protect family values" by only promoting normal families in school books... Somehow this was understood as Poland having "LGBT-free zones", and now EU is targetting Poland.

Poles might not be as much against of LGBT movement as activists of this movement, but not only Poles but many others and if they won't cut off themselves out of it there will be more and more people who hares them
It is sad to see poland go against LGBT people it was not that long ago when the polish people where massacre for being people who didn't fit into other groups ideal people.poland is better than that .
