    Since the start of the 2024 college football season, around August 1 or a total of about 125 days, there have been over 784 articles stating that Arch is transferring next season, or at least where he SHOULD transfer next season. Every time Arch has said anything it has been "I came to Texas because that is where I want to play."
    Arch has not changed his mind about where he wants to play and will be the starting QB for Texas in the 2025 and 2026 football seasons.

    I think the Texas fanbase is being misspoken for here. We are not saying Arch is going to lead us, this year, into the promise land by blowing out teams. What we are saying is this (its long, but I think I capture our sentiments):
    1. Ewers is visibly not doing well. He did poorly against A&M and did "Okay" against Georgia. Don't let the 350 yards fool you, it was only between the Texas 25 and UGA 35. The one touchdown was D. Moore making a play.
    2. In 2 games, 8 QTRs of gameplay, Ewers scored 2 TDs. 2. That is more poor QB execution than play calling.
    3. The OL isn't the issue. During game, the OL gave Ewers a clean pocket I'd say 80-90% of the game. Even if the diagnosis was that the UGA pass rush was getting through more, why keep an immobile QB in there just to take sacks?
    4. You can't have it both ways and say, "Ewers didn't have a run game playing UGA". Okay, but during the A&M game, his RBs gave him over 200 yards of offense and he only managed 1 TD and multiple sacks and a pick 6. Who scored the first? That's right, Manning.
    5. I refuse, and with actual game evidence, to believe that Ewers is light years ahead of Manning in passing. There is no way Sark can gaslight me to the point to believe that. Ewers, like the first outting against UGA, was rendered ineffective and Manning should've took over midway through the 3rd when it was obvious Ewers wasn't getting it done.
    6. If you say, "Well Ewers is injured", okay well you have a 100% healthy QB that is bigger, faster, stronger, and more accurate on passes past 20 yards. He may not have the "experience", but Ewers with experience only managed 16 points (in regulation) against a vulnerable defense and only managed 10 points against a below average defense in A&M.

    • @rajathiyagakarthick3131
      @rajathiyagakarthick3131 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      Arch manning should eventually start. Evers has committed to the draft. But way to approach is to play ewers 80% against Clemson. Make him look good. And ease in manning. Then you put in manning more and more. So it doesn’t hurt ewers draft stock and to show manning, they can turn to him and he’s the future. Sark not turning to manning will just lead to fan frustration. The fucking point is to go into deep playoffs and win as many games possible and potentially a championship. You can’t just be like oh ewers is our guy and be mid when there’s clear upside. Think Taysom hill, and Brees.

    • @GabrielMartinez-sd8pc
      @GabrielMartinez-sd8pc ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@rajathiyagakarthick3131 It is clear that there is something holding Texas back and that is Ewers performance. If you would've shown me a info chart of Texas vs. UGA first half and TEX having 250 yards of offense compared to UGAs 57 and only scoring 3 points, I would've thought we were up 21-3. Being up 6-3 with 250 yards of offense is 100% QB performance and completely unacceptable. If the logic is, "Ewers is playing hurt", well why is a 100% healthy QB who is possible just as good as Ewers sitting and an injured player playing?

    If Arch doesn't take at least 20 snaps in the semifinal or final games, Texas will lose. Arch may not be as experienced as Quinn, but how do you get experience? Georgia put in their QB2 against Texas in the SEC Championship Game, and he definitely was a better fit for that game than Carson Beck because he was a dual threat. Georgia couldn't stop Georgia Tech a couple of weeks ago because Tech's QB was a dual threat. Arch may be the best dual threat QB in college right now because, in addition to having a great arm, he's one of the fastest and best ball carriers on the team. Quinn is still probably not 100 percent because of his ankle, and he self-sacks and throws picks if the pocket isn't clean....he can't scramble very well.

    Texas is paying him to win, not loose with his bad play calling and the use of an injured Ewers! Arch is waiting patiently and deserves a chance to win for the Texas Longhorns! If he is gonna have a shitty attitude, like Saban, then he needs to win, like Saban did, then he can do that, but until then, he needs to seek out the help of Saban, he's available and WIN! You use the resources available to win and Arch is just that! That won't last long in Austin if he keeps loosing the games we can win! God Bless!

    the only reason Ewers is starting is bc Sarkisian is a typical high ego type A coach, he wants to flex his power. Manning gives them a better chance to beat top five teams, they are pissing this season away and their future with him

  • @HornsIllustrated
    @HornsIllustrated 18 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

    This is what we said on 'X'
    I don't think most people full appreciate that coach Sarkisian has a plan. That plan includes putting his players in the best situation to succeed.
    With that, Sarkisian has a QB that arrived first that he has been molding, he believes in, is counting on, and ultimately is helping prepare him for his next job in life. That may or may not be the NFL, though it likely is.
    If Sarkisian was to replace Ewers for Manning that would completely destroy his blueprint for developing QB's.
    How much trust would a future QB have in Sarkisian's program if there was a possibility of getting benched just because another QB might seem like a better choice (according to everyone else).
    There is a massive leadership lesson in all this.
    Let the 'team' decided their fate and not just one player. The entire team needs to play better like Sarkisian references in the interview.
    If you research how Sarkisian has developed QB, then all this will make sense.
    QB1 is Quinn Ewers.

    • @nelsonjaramillo7889
      @nelsonjaramillo7889 7 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      No matter what?
      Even as we are horrific in the red zone for the past 2+ years? The red zone showcases Quinn’s slow processing/reading of defenses. Everything is tighter and faster so having a mentally quicker, more decisive and more athletic quarterback Could prove to be the answer. Deciding it isn’t before the season and ignoring all evidence during the season is contrary to the best interests of the team (Quinn does not equal the team)

    • @GabrielMartinez-sd8pc
      @GabrielMartinez-sd8pc ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      The Team needs to do better? Texas's defense held Georgia to 57 yards and 3 points in the 1st half and 16 points in regulation. Holding an SEC team to 16 points and losing and at same time saying, "The team needs to do better" is such a slap to the face against the defense.
      This "prodigy" has only scored 2 TDs in 8 QTRs of play and the inability to score cost Texas their first SEC Championship. The other side of the logic is the sunken cost fallacy. Sarkisian may be investing too much into Ewers to the detriment of the team. If Ewers performs poorly against Clemson and they lose, after being heavy favorites at home, while Manning is on the bench will absolutely wreck your argument and will make Sarkisian look worse than just benching Ewers. Your argument is one of pride and not for the best of the team. Was Saban's reputation tarnished when he replaced Hurts with Tua against Georgia in the National Championship? No.
