After the victory of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the 18th Lok Sabha elections, BJP leader Narendra Modi took oath as the Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive time. President Draupadi Murmu administered him the oath of office and secrecy at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan here. With this, Modi equaled the record of the country's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru of becoming Prime Minister for three consecutive terms. Modi became the Prime Minister of the country for the first time after BJP's victory in the Lok Sabha elections in 2014.
18वीं लोकसभा के चुनाव में राष्ट्रीय जनतांत्रिक गठबंधन (NDA) की जीत के बाद भाजपा नेता नरेंद्र मोदी ने लगातार तीसरी बार भारत के प्रधानमंत्री पद की शपथ ली। राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने उन्हें यहां राष्ट्रपति भवन में आयोजित एक समारोह में पद और गोपनीयता की शपथ दिलाई। इसके साथ ही मोदी ने लगातार तीन बार प्रधानमंत्री बनने के देश के पहले प्रधानमंत्री जवाहरलाल नेहरू के रिकॉर्ड की बराबरी कर ली। मोदी 2014 में लोकसभा चुनाव में भाजपा की जीत के बाद पहली बार देश के प्रधानमंत्री बने थे। इसके बाद 17वीं लोकसभा के चुनाव में भारी बहुमत से जीत के बाद वह लगातार दूसरी बार प्रधानमंत्री बने।
