I just purchased a '60 TR3 already restored. This gives me a heightened appreciation for the difficulty and why I paid so much for it! Incidentally, what is the music? It's great.
Very extensive rebuild on the body and very well done. Bravo. Saving the TR2 frame would have been extra special. The early frames are unique. Or, transferring the TR2 details to the later frame, and adding gussets to the rear shock mounts, similar to the later unit. Also, the replacement rockers have drain holes, that the early cars didn't have. I have a TS2172, a '54 long door, this must be a later car, after 4000 VIN. Beautiful TR2. Cheers.
I had TS 2166, registered Feb 54, PDU404 . It was owned by Triumph for 2 years, but have never been able to trace what for. Sadly I don't think it exists now, but PDU 405 was in Kent, now in Sweden I think.
Ice Blue Paint I presume. Do you happen to have the paint information including paint code, manufacturer? Beautiful car. Ihave a 1955 TR2 that I would like to finish in that color once I complete my metal and bodywork.
Ice Blue Paint? Do you happen to have the paint information you used. I plan to paint my 1955 TR2 that color if I ever get finished with the metal work.

the used frame is identical to my TR original frame. rockers correct we added more drain holes than original to make sure no water would be trapped

look for 1950 Lambretta Grigio Fume. with the help of original colors we were able to determine this is the same color the factory used.

Left hand drive for a British made car ?
Very likely much better restored than when they were first cobbled together by disinterested shirkers at the factory. Looks amazing.....

Amazing restoration brother but a horrible colour selection on a classic car
completely original so no discussion,,.
