As usual the true Grimms' version is more or less total nonsense :D Why didn't they just invite the 13th woman but apologise for not having gold, and give her twice as much red wine? Problem solved. And the Prince showing up at the end is just totally irrelevant anyway since she is going to wake up regardless. I'm pretty sure it must all be some fine 19th century trolling from the Brothers, which we have to applaud. I wonder what they'd think if they saw the Disney merch.
