@@sheepdestroyer4529 I just tried looking but can’t find it. Put farming in the Facebook search bar and join the big U.K. or Welsh farming groups and just ask in there mate. Join Heart of England Metal Detecting, join Detecting Anonymous, join my group Anglo Celtic Metal Detecting. Then at least you might be able to get on some rallies if you don’t mind traveling.

CHESHIRE METAL DETECTING yes that lead was mad. Very very heavy but I put it in a place I can recover it from if I feel the urge to carry it the rest of the way to the car 😊

Simon Robson I’m 50 next Monday . In this video we scoped out a rally farm in South Wales. I was going to put one on this Weekend. Someone got to the farmer though and after saying yes he later went quiet on me so no rally . Not sure who butted in really. Hence my apprehension about your initial question . Anglo Celtic Metal Detecting that's shit. The farmer willbe well pissed if he sold the farm and land then somebody found a fortune in artefacts, no pay out for him. Look at it this way... What goes around comes around!!!. Good luck on future sites.
First find could be a bodkin armoured plate arrow head mate I’ve got money on it it is, just keep an eye on you car boys I know the area well, it can be a bit dodgy, area looks nice bud but it’s rife with smash and grabs In Merthyr bud. I’d of made Sid drag that lump of lead back to the car in his sock it would of payed for the fuel for your trip. 👍😉😂
Just dig it smash and grabs you say Boyo. I left my Back up machine on display in the back seat all afternoon out on the lane. I might go back for that lump of lead. 😊

Nice finds on the day, Roman and hammered. Bet hat lump of lead weighed your finds pouch down a bit. I actually found an Alexander 3rd Scottish hammered in wales, he must have been pissed and tripped when he dropped it 😀. Great hunt mate. HH Tony
