I can't even comprehend how perfect they all sound! At the 5:30 mark... I have to assume that amatti schmidt jumped back on lead for this section, since we cant see what he is doing... But if that is in fact only Jimmy making his guitar do that, i don't see how it's even humanly possible. What a legendary performance! Does anyone know the name of this first song?
It is hard to understand, because of him being generally incoherent, having a southern accent and speaking in a shy, not so well articulated manner. But after repeating it a couple of times I think I got it all. He first thanks the audience, says "when you go home, don't forget your car" (audience laughs), says he really enjoyed the evening, it's been an honor for him to play. Then he starts telling a personal story about his friend Johan who would have been there with him tonight, but isn't because something bad happened to his wife the day before yesterday. She fell asleep smoking after taking pills she got from her doctor, then caught fire. "Her nails were still in the wall". I guess we have to assume she died in the event. The next thing he is going to play will be a tribute to her, he asks for applause for "the girl", and also for Johan. "I hope you will enjoy it". I would not rule out the possibility that he made it all up, as a result of his substance abuse. I am not sure either way.
