Let's not take away the credits from the dancers shall we? Dancers are there to amplify the whole performances. Without dancers, things would be flat. Most dancers efforts get snubbed at cos to a lot of non-dancers out there, they think it's easy to pickup steps by just watching and executing. Nope. Doesn't work that way. So give credits where credits are due.
Next year is BoA's 20th anniversary in Japan. I hope she releases a bop and the choreography is super difficult and complex that copying it is close to impossible.

She knows that we come to see her dance, and still manages to push herself by not relying completely on the track. I guess thats what 10+ years in the music business teaches you. Who are Aya and Bambi? I mean, I know they're backup dancers, but which ones are they and why are they so "important"? I seriously have no clue who they are or why everyone is so excited to see them.

Look, I didn't mean to be rude or offensive, I just want to know what they're famous for. Like, what do they do? Are they dancers, actresses, talents, tv personalities, what? It's kinda obvious that people like BoA because she has a nice voice, amazing dance moves, sweet personality, and can speak at least 4 different languages (w/ varying degrees of fluency). What do these girls do?
Those "XXX is better" in the comments, I found them kind of meaningless...... First of all, it's not like the difference is so obvious like heaven&earth when I'm not Hawkeye. I only see one good performance. And before trying to say "XXX is better", don't you think it's impossible to make a good judgement with these factors around? -This dance is BoA's. Even with many group practice, others do not solely focus on this dance, and she should still be naturally better than others at this. Doesn't earn credit by dancing better than others. -BoA was singing. Hands down, she earn credits simply by just dancing as good as others. See the messy contradictions? We have +/- factors that cannot balance each other. (Well IMO for stars like BoA there's no reason she dances not better than others.) And fun things noticed in the video: -Aya was still wearing her huge platform shoes, which gives way more problem than high-heel shoes. e.g. see the first line of chorus, Aya's leg angle of movement is somehow restricted due to this (center of rotation issue). -Near/After 1:46 about the hand/body move, BoA had an unwanted preparation movement before the abrupt pause, making it too soft. Just guessing, but if she do it too sharply/quickly the singing part may be affected, it's in the middle of a sentence after all. Even though she're robust on both things it's silly to choke your lung when singing. -BoA didn't bend her upper body all the way back like others, when she still needs to face the camera + sing + shake her heads. A human jaw does not enough room to sing properly if she bend like others lol
Either the quality of those small mics improved greatly or she's using a prerecorded track. :[ Never thought I'd see a time where BoA lip-syncs on a Japanese music show. Been a fan for 13 years, I know how she sounds live. Her breathing techniques has never been that great nor has she improved it; you can't even hear it here. BoA~~ waaeeee.
