I first watched this map before I started reading warriors and I thought the story was:
Ash fur and Brambleclaw were both fighting for bright heart’s love (ya I though squirrel flight was bright heart for some reason) as they’re fighting over her,Bright starts preferring Ash over Bramble but she ends up having kits with the both of them. Even then Bramble is trying his best to win her affections still. Then Bright gets a nightmare in which Ash is trying to kill her with fire. She fears it’s a vision of the future so she rejects Ash and goes with Bramble only to decide he isn’t her type and he never will be. She and Ash just have a deep connection and the future isn’t set in stone anyway. Bright knows she can’t be happy with Bramble so she runs to find Ash to tell him only to find he has been killed by a rouge cat or a badger,it doesn’t matter. He’s dead and Bright is devastated. Bramble takes this opportunity to tell Bright this is a sign they should be together,emotionally manipulating her. Ash’s ghost comes and he’s angered by this but wants Bright to have a mate. He tells her to forget the memories they’ve shared and go with Bramble so she could have a mate and a new litter of kits. Bright doesn’t really want to but goes anyways,angry at Ash this time for leaving her. She and Bramble get together,rule the clan together and have a litter of kits and Bright is happy. Ash sees this and although he’s sad she didn’t end up with him,he accepts this and moves on to starclan to watch over Bright and her family

Just saying, I love this. I love how the voices sound how I imagine Brambleclaw and Ashfur would sound, and Ashfur even says, "You can tell me if I'm wrong but I see it on your face, when you say that he's the one that you want!" And it is so realistic because Squirrelflight told Ashfur she loved Brambleclaw. This is such a work of art. I listen to it almost every day lol xD

Love how everyone is saying things like how Ashfur and Brambleclaw were both older than Squilf as if that changes anything. In the cat universe, animals don’t care about age, they just know to eat, hunt, sleep, drink, survive, and reproduce. That’s all they think about. Yes, Warriors is an interpretation of if animals had personalities and thoughts before their actions, but in the end, they’re still animals just trying to keep their species alive. Besides, Ashfur was a warrior when she was an apprentice as well. They both were older than her by plenty, but even here, age gaps are a thing and sometimes they work out, other times they don’t. We’re all animals, we’re just the only ones that have so many problems that we have to not only pay to exist but also find the one for us rather than settle for somebody to reproduce every two years or something.
On a side note: this map still gives me chills and that ending where Ashfur vanishes has gotta be my favorite part(still love the song, too) 🫶

Ok ash fur literally stole bramblestars body and used it to get close to squirrelflight and disrupt the clans, then at the end of darkness within he literally attacks squirrelflight and drags her into the moon pool, to the afterlife places, I guess.
This might be a little controversial but if you look at squirrelflights hope, bramblestar is literally being an abusive mate. NOW DONT YOU DARE START WITH THE WHOLE “oh well squirrelflight was bratty and rude as a apprentice and lied to bramblestar that one time so that gives him the right to abuse her” I AM SOO SICK OF PEOPLE SAYING THAT!! Sorry, that was kind of rude, but it’s true. I don’t feel like writing all the evidence so if you want some go to bright guardian Akira for his video on this, or just read squirrelflights hope and read closely on what bramblestar does to squirrelflight, but I suggest akira.

I’m so sad. Both of these toms weren’t good enough for Squirrelflight. But Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight is a bit healthier. Everyone thinks Squirrelflight just used these toms, everyone does. But she isn’t. She was just torn into two. Imagine two people had a crush on you, and you didn’t know who to choose and you didn’t want their feelings to get hurt. This is just what Squirrelflight felt.

This is the first warrior cats map I ever saw and coming back 4 years from then and it is still one of my favs! The lip sync, the emotions! Ugh, it’s amazing! The voices also fit the characters so well!

I believe Ashfur will always hate Squirrelflight. She tried making up with him, for something she didn't even do. She didn't ruin their friendship. So I don't ever see them making up. Some cats, good or bad, just don't let go of old grudges.
Gardner Gardner I believe he smiled at the end, he only wanted her to be happy. They will make up in Starclan like Rainflower had been forgiven by Crookedstar in Starclan

Ashfur didn't want Squirrelflight happy. He wanted her to suffer, that's what he said. If he wanted her happy, them he wouldn't have tried killing them. He wouldn't be dead know. He would have left Squirrelflight and Bramblestar alone from the beginning.
Rainflower and Crookedstar made up, but that was a completely different situation. Rainflower was mean to Crookedstar as he was growing up but she never went so far as to try to actually physically harm him. She gave him a bad name, she isolated him because of a scar, and she took away his confidence. But throughout the book a bit before her death Rainflower was at least shown to have her brief moments of accepting that this was still her kit. Ashfur never accepted it, Jayfeather was warned to avoid him and Ashfur sure wasn't trying to speak to Jayfeather to speak forgiveness. He knew he had to visit Starclan. He doesn't even try to walk in any of their dream to at least apologize. It's nice that it was added in the video, but Ashfur will never accept it. Besides it's easy to love your own child again, but a friend that has betrayed you so drastically, you have to be a *VERY* forgiving person. Besides it's not as if he argued with her, he tried murdering them. That's hard to forgive.

I would have to go with Brambleclaw for two reasons. One, they are just cuter together, and two, Ashfur is Squirrelflight's uncle.
