I like this version of the song, but I'm a bigger fan of the other version. To me it just felt more viciously genuine in a way. Like it made me think, "Damn, this man really has something he needs to say and I want to listen."
I like the Sparsity of the original including the beautiful use of the Cello. Sometimes a song benefits more with space. This is OK if you like Music but I prefer the Bluesy feel and atmosphere of the original
