    Shout out to my friend Steven S. who allowed me do a tour on his property (the property got rented out just a few days after I made this video)
    Also shoutout to my friend Tolu Tplum who handled my camera and made these videos with me.

    Nice content I must commend, however, for an entirely new comer who might not be able to afford the cost of apartments like this, permit me to narrow it down to maybe just one room apartment, kindly how much would thia go for? Besides, what are the best options for a single room, in terms of costs and affordability, for the first fee days upon arrival in Calgary, specially for someone with little cash on? Once again, kudos for your contents.

      Unfortunately, everyday, cost of living keeps going up in canada, and even between the time I made that video and today, prices have gone up some more. For a single person, your best bet might be getting a flat mate or someone to share the bills with. Average prices for a one bedroom still hovers around $1700

    Hi Tobie, great information.
    Great job with your videos...
    I'm going to be moving to Calgary in July. I'd appreciate it if you could guide me in finding a rental home for my initial phase. We are a family of 3.
    Thank you very much.

    The place is very nice for an older building.

    • @erinletobi
      @erinletobi  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, as long as the buildings are well managed and maintained or renovated, they always look good regardless of what year they were built

    Hello please how can one get a Nigerian chat group in Canada where one can get who to help in settling in ?

  • @giftokondo3950
    @giftokondo3950 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    But are other areas that are far from downtown cheaper like for example mahogany or SE calgary

    • @erinletobi
      @erinletobi  ปีที่แล้ว

      Totally depends on the community, the type of building too. Typically apartments closer to more expensive to rent, but some communities are expensive too. I live in mahogany and the average rent for a 2bedroom is around $2200. Whereas Mackenzie towne which is just a few minutes away from mahogany is a cheaper community to rent in

    • @giftokondo3950

      Like what's the cheapest apartment you have seen in Calgary

    • @giftokondo3950
      @giftokondo3950 ปีที่แล้ว

      And also am hearing that things are alot expensive in Canada now which has also killing my hope of coming to Canada and I don't know if it would ever go down

    • @erinletobi
      @erinletobi  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@giftokondo3950 I don’t know what the cheapest is because I’m not actively searching. But last time I checked was $1800 for a 2 bedroom. If you check rentfaster.ca regularly, you can stay on top of the prices

    • @erinletobi
      @erinletobi  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@giftokondo3950 lol. Things are expensive everywhere in the world right now, not just Canada. I know because I follow the global news and even people in Australia are complaining. I don’t think that’s enough to discourage you if you plan to come here.
