I just realized that during the introduction, the directions that Kevin outlines are not matching those on screen. Pretty funny, made me let out a moderate chortle.
I like to imagine that Kevin is playing the game normally, and then when he thinks of a funny quip he has to go stand in front of the other camera and do a few takes
only thing is that he'd have to avoid the "do-not" cells, cuz like if he'd put a torch and it's dead (like in this vid) then no way he could do it. So either go extreme as you suggest, or a bit milder which means try to fill the board as much as he can. I'd love both ideas, could be great for a stream.

I wouldn't call it incredibly difficult to find. There's a literal 100% chance of it spawning in buried treasure. You can get plenty of them from just swimming around looking for shipwrecks.

That's just how you tame horses, donkeys, and mules in minecraft. You get on and keep getting on no matter how many times they buck you off. Each try improves the chances by 5%, so the worst it can be is 20 tries. ...oh and feeding them certain types of food can increase it by 5%, but I've never bothered with that mechanic.
I wonder if Kevin knows how to do the critical attack. He seems to always get into lots of fights and you'd thinks he'd know how to slay his enemies by now haha.

There's no way to fill the board because one is respawn with an anchor and the other is don't die.
