hey man, in sim just press "n" to control better your plane, you were actually in full control, activate the damping mode, and use the IFF of the radar to know if the plane in front of you is an enemy or not

Pro tips from Mirage F1C main. Use the super 530s and use them within 10KMs. Get a good lock and fire. even if the chaff done unlock the target most of the time the missile will still track. Get high and avoid peoples radar by going to the sides of the map and hitting them from up high and from the side.
