I've heard there was another mention of a Lignos during the Justin Wild Whisperer quest line, when we asked the South Hoof tree for help. Like it mentioned it can merge with Justin and made him its slave or smth.
@@eleanornightwalker "Perhaps I will keep the boy when the ritual is done. Trade his flesh for bark, turn him into my Lignos to serve me for eternity. It would be quite an honor!"
It makes so much sense for it to be Gary, and there’s definitely something up with Edith. I’m still clinging onto the fact that there was meant to be a ranger in the fire spotter tower that drove herself mad, so I have a feeling the screams, and the fact that the door was locked from the inside, could point towards Edith’s transformation being... well, less than comfortable. I don’t know why I want to cling onto the Halloween video so tightly now though, it could be because I remember watching it with my friends when it came out, so please take this with a pinch of salt, I may just be trying to fit it in where it can’t go.
I considered the possibility of the two stories being combined - that something made Edith go mad in the fire spotter tower and that she became a Lignos through dark magic 🤔 but then again, she seemingly wanted to protect the Jorvik wilds, so it's probably more likely that she willingly gave herself to the life wardens 🤷♀️ Edit: but I have to say, the fact that it's even possible to become one through dark magic definitely tells me that there's a darker and more important side to this story that we have yet to explore
I've to agree, I kinda feel like Edith may have loved the forest and wanted to protect it but that the dark magic of the forest(especially sentinel(?) tree) may have gotten to her and turned her crazy, using her for its advantage
@@eleanornightwalker In her diary she wrote that she wants to become one with nature, which points at her willingly giving up herself to become a Lignos for the life warden. However, we don't know what happened after she wrote that last page. She might have thought everything would work out painless and that the transition would be quick - but maybe the tree tricked her for some reason, or the transition was a lot worse than she ever could've imagined 🤔 it's for sure a lot of fun to theorize and discuss about!
@@StarkeeperLen maybe she found out the tree was corrupted with pandorian magic and wanted to become a guardian to save it. However, being corrupted the transformation was warped or altered?
Didn't Gary also mention that he has a headache from the tree also? Maybe that sentinel tree has an actual negative side effect of it and Edith was too sensitive at it.
In the saving justin quest, the tree says, and I quote “perhaps i could turn his flesh into bark, and make him my own Lignos, oh how lovely that would be” (along the lines of that, but the tree mentions being able to turn justin into a Lignos, basically a servant of the tree in return for helping alex and your character, which your character quickly shuts down). Meaning that it is confirmed that the sentinel tree transforms humans into Lignos. I believe that maybe the halloween story, about the screaming from the tower thing, could be Edith. Keep in mind the tree mentions being able to turn justin’s flesh into bark. Which leads me to believe, maybe Edith gave herself up to the sentinel tree to become a Lignos and protect the jorvik wilds, continuing to wander around them when her time as a human may have reached its end normally. And so I believe that the screaming and crying wasn’t from the tower mentioned, but it was rather from edith when she was being turned into a Lignos, but since the rangers can’t know what it is because that part of wildwoods was locked for normal trespassers, they assumed it came from the tower. If so, Edith would be the Lignos we encountered, and I believe that since Lignos are the tree’s servants, the sentinel tree requested of Lignos Edith to bring the player into wild woods for reasons we have yet to uncover. This would also mean that since the jorvik wilds don’t actually know who the Lignos is, the jorvik wilds didn’t actually know edith entered into their territory, since she was quickly turned into the Lignos. And I believe, Gary Goldtooth was the first human to step into the territory but ACTUALLY talk to the jorvik wilds. And I believe that the jorvik wilds refer to Lignos as a male because they don’t actually know it’s gender. It could happen. That could explain why Gary is the first human to step into the jorvik wild herd territory, and Edith was never remembered because she didn’t interact with the jorvik wilds, and instead became the Lignos behind the scenes. Which explains why the herds don’t really know where the Lignos came from. Keep in mind this is just trying to tie in the information we have right now, so take it with a grain of salt :)
The only thing is with SSO being so supportive/doing a good job of representing the LGBTQ community such as Alonso being non-binary and now having two lesbian relationships I imagine they would be having a Jorvik wild using they/them if they do not know of the lignios gender so that makes me think that they know it is a boy in some way
@@dicesnyder1544 Maybe Edith switched genders during the transformation, just like Anne's soul horse did during it's reborn. It's another body, so the gender can be different too.
@@SNess-mm9yq yes but I was more focused on the part about the Jorvik wilds using he him pronouns witch tells me that they must know a little bit about it because it the Jorvik wilds didn’t know the gender then I would thinking they would uses theythem pronouns
Maybe Edith is the Lignos. And she is protecting the Jorvik wilds in their home because of the Sentinel Tree. That tree to me doesn’t seem safe, it has pandoric crystals and pinkish purple light glowing all throughout it. I’m so excited to see what happens! Maybe do a theory discussion about the sentinel tree because I think it’s pandoric.
it makes a lot of sense to say the tree is pandoric, you can tell just by looking at it, and it explains the blue coloring of the jorvik wilds (a result of being near 'magical' energy) but i'm not sure we can say the sentinel tree actually harms the horses because (as far as i remember) they were created by aideen to protect jorvik and its horses? i mean...its in the name...'sentinel'... anyways i dont think the lignos (or assumably Edith) is protecting the wilds FROM the tree so much as WITH the tree. especially considering the way the mystics regard it.
@@imanabuiqran9246 yeah I thought that too. But then I thought, if Aideen placed the tree there, then why would there be dead trees all around it? That area should be the lushest part of the forest. I just can’t see a Goddess planting a tree that would suck the energy and life of the things around it. So that’s what made me think of the Pandoric rocks and their purple light and then I saw the crystals. Maybe the tree was planted by Her but then Garnok’s energy or pandoria became so strong it over took the tree and the Jorvik Wilds didn’t realize it because it happened slowly over the years. Or the trees roots reached all the way to Garnok down in the ocean, trying to reach the roots of other Life Wardens. I don’t know but it’s fascinating.
Well the tree can reach Pandoria so mabye Darkcore or something in pandoria made the tree sick and mabye the tree spread the sickness from Pandoria on the land and that would explain the jorvik wildhorses pandoric energy that they have. Mabye Edith Hartwood was a druid that could speak to the tree and wanted to become one with the forest like she wrote in her diary and asked the tree to turn her in to a lignos but because the tree is sick with pandoric energy the transformarion was more painfull than she taught it would be. That could explain the screams in Mistfall. Mabye the lignos (Edith) is trying to reach out to us for help concerning the sentinel tree. Edith could know that the tree is infected by dark pandoric energy from Pandoria that Darkcore created. And Edith now wants us to help the tree to survive this sickness. The jorvik wildhorses don't seem to know this. Edith could be the only one knowing that the tree is sick by Pandoric energy. Mabye like i said she was a druid that was exploring Wildwoods nature and magic. And decided to become one with the forest and the druids might keep this information secret. But might don't know that Darkcore is infecting Wildwoods with it's poisen. Mabye Darkcore is trying to control Wildwoods and it's connection to pandoria through the tree to gain more power to quiken the light ceremony backwards. This possible new long mainstory quest could be the way for us and the Soulriders to face the Darkriders again. Only then in a battle to save the tree and the forest. Mabye all of this is also connected to Fripp's coma. Mabye after he sacrificed himself the coma that he got was not only caused by the big power he used to save us from Darko but also because Darkcore keeps him in a coma. Because Darkcore is sligtly destroying Pandoria Fripp can't wake up. And the tree feels it too. So mabye in the next mainstory we notice that Fripp starts glowing pink and almost dies. And we find out that the tree also almost dies. So mabye we visit Pandoria true the tree to find Fripp's soul and the trees soul and together we try to save their souls. But the Darkriders try to stop us and we fight them. Evantually Darkcore's plan to kill Fripp and the tree fails and Fripp wakes up.
While it sounds like Gary is the one the herds are referring to, we need to keep in mind of when Edith disappeared. How long ago would have that been, and would this current members of the Wild herd have been around. They say Gary because he is the only one before us that these current Wilds know of. So it's quite possible that Edith still entered Wild Woods before Gary, but maybe not interacted with any of the current living Wilds. Basically the oldest current wilds in the herd could have been young horses or foals when Edith came and never interacted with her. Or she kept a distance from them.
I think Edith planned on staying in the Redwood point area of Wild woods, but maybe she met a Lignos once and found out that she could become one, and wanted to. She probably ranges from Redwood point to the new(ish) area of Wild woods so she can be close to the Sentinel, but also be close to the beginning of her journey in the Wild Woods. I don't know this for sure, but It's my first guess about Edith Octavia Hartwood. And oh yes I have a theory about Gary too: Gary seems to put the wild horses in Fort Pinta, Firgrove, and near Moorland. It's all very well that most players unlock these pretty early on in the game, but could these areas be linked to Wild Woods? We know that Firgrove has it's own passage to Wild Woods, and his new wagon is located *JUST* outside of it! I don't have a great theory for why he changed to mainly Moorland and Fort Pinta, but I think the sso team wanted to leave Firgrove alone for a bit as the Starshine thing and of course the Wagon, which are both close to it Wow my fingers hurt from writing this
I also thought about the link between Firgrove and Wildwoods! It makes sense why Gary would set up his horse market outside Firgrove if he goes in and out of Wildwoods, it's so close and all
Wow, I think you’re right. I think when Edith went to the wildwoods, she had a choice or something: she becames a protector of wildwoods or she leave. This is my theory😂 Sorry for my bad english
I think Edith Octavia Hartwood went into the forest such a long time ago, that the horses living now do not know she was there. Gary is the only human who goes there *now' it does not mean that he was the first ever to go there.
I have this headcanon that Edith Hartwood is the pure white lignos and became a queen of sorts to the other lignos or maybe that shes the first lignos and the lignos we see are ancestors of her.
No joke the video just started 2 seconds in the vid and the video freezes and the loading symbol was around her characters head and the character/avatar was just looking into my soul as i eat my cereal😅☀
I just want to give you a huge thank you for the content you create here on youtube, for your wonderful thought out theories and mature voice of opinion. No matter what it is about. I'm 26 this year and have my sso account because I love the game. I grew up with starshine legacy when they came out. I do hope we get more story quests going and I'm quite intrigued by what's going on in wildwoods atm. This is all very interesting to listen to so again thank you for being you and making these videos. Greatly appreciated! ❤️
I totally agree with this. It was bugging me too that the horses said only 1 human ventured into the Wild Woods before, while Gary and Edith are 2 humans instead of one. Her becoming one with the forest and having a possibility to actually become it as a lignos, it almost can't have any other explanation. We even get clothes as a reward for quests, I think that is more to show how she dressed, to get an idea of her and to add curiousity for the mystery.
Im really curious about the new things that popped up in the game files with the new update. Like ghv castle roof? And other castle things. Did they update the golden hills castle?? Would love to hear more about this, i did manage to get some photos of the castle before the new update. My camera view glitched inside of Fripps "bed" soo I could see golden hills underneath haha 😂
I absolutely think you are 100% CORRECT! I can't wait for more quests on this story! One thing you didn't mention though is that when we saved Justin from the druid prison and brought him to the Life Warden at South Hoof to help us find Concorde, the Life Warden told us that she might keep Justin as her own Lignos... So I think you need to have contact with a Life Warden tree to be able to turn into a lignos, but since the Sentinel tree is so strong and has roots reaching all the way to Redwood Point, maybe Edith only needed to be in deep contact with the roots and didn't have to actually get up close to the actual tree?
My theory: Although I love Gary, I have to put this out there- I was wondering the question, "Where does Gary get these horses, and why is it only two at a time?" Well I am starting to think he's stealing them... let me explain~ SSO said Wild Woods will come out in 3 parts, we've only gotten two. This 3rd part, I think, will be where Gary has been taking these special horses. Wild woods 1 was just a forest with some mysterious stuff, wild woods two is a forest with magical talking horses, who's to say wild woods 3 can't get bigger and better? Gary could be using us to buy his horses, and be friends with him. As well as being friends with the 3 herds. I hate going against Gary but this is what I think :)
That could be very true, there's just one thing that doesn't make sense to me. They said Wildwoods is being released in three parts, but as far as I can see on our current game-map, there is no more room in Wildwoods for the third part?! If it's not going to be underground O_O
@@lilahapplerain1196 Ashland is at the very north of Dino valley so unless there’d be a tunnel leading us underground from the north of wildwoods to Ashland I don’t see that possibility 🤔 the little part that’s not yet filled in on the edge towards Dino valley, isn’t that just mountains tho? The same way the map isn’t filled in towards Firgrove because that’s a mountain range 🤔 but the team has been full of surprises before so I guess anything could be possible 😄💖
What I also always think about is that how (or who) did the horses build the little "houses" for the shops and etc? It's maybe just a thought of mine and SSO wanted to make it more people-alike "cause they're like humans with shops and locals and all", although realistically it doesn't makes sense how the horses would build all those things with hooves, so maybe Gary has a hand in this too...
The horses said the squirrels help them build and craft stuff 😄 but i agree, what would they need these huts and shops and tack for, when they're wild horses without riders/ owners..
@@sirenserenades oh right, I forgot about that one 😅 but yeah, the saddles and the equipment are a good question too, i don't think that Gary needs a dress with full of flowers 😂
wait people doubted the fact that gary is the one? its obvious. everytime he comes with the magical wild horses he says something similar to ”i got them from a place north of mistfall”
(please read this theory) edith was the lignos, i bet she closed off the herds and tore down the bridge leading towards tailtop village. She thought the herds would be safe until she sensed the war and tension between them. She knew she had to go back but did not know how. So we stepped into the story. In the quest we state that the stag needs our help. well what does he need our help with? why does he need to get over this bridge? and why do we not see him again after? Our characters used our magic to get into the forest and we clearly have a connection with the pandoric energy. idk what but i feel like something is about to go down
I had this super random theory about Gary a couple weeks ago after looking at the Jorvik map haha. So, Jorvik City is pretty close to wildwoods with only a mountain range in between. So I was like "How come it's so close but no one from Jorvik City ever discovered this hidden horse valley before? Surely someone must've become curious to what was on the other side of those mountains..?" And then it came to my mind that what if Gary did that? And that he found the wild herds, but instead of going back and telling everyone about them he decided to stay and keep their secret. And what if he found a source or plant in the woods that made him stop aging? I know it doesn't make any sense but just imagine if he'd be like 300 or 500 years in reality?? It would be such an interesting backstory for him 😂 ALSO his glowup is the best I've seen, so well deserved haha! 😍
It would make sense but the thing is, the horses in wild woods dont have a magical coat change so where would he be getting the horses from (gary goldtooth is who i talking about)
I also think that the cart in wild woods would mean gary is about to get mroe horses to sell and we meet him adn then there will be a WHOLE new quest, edith said she became one with the forest so maybe she became like that before the herd could see her
Maybe you become a Lignos using the sentinel tree in wildwoods? It makes sense, it after all is the most powerful tree that we have seen yet, and the Lignos that we saw (Edith probably) has some purple on it and has the flowers of wildwoods. Also, the tree is VERY in tact with pandering magic which we know, can do lots of crazy things, I mean it trapped Anne in a crystal for over a year I belive. It's also powerful enough to create giant cracks in jorvik big enough to such people into its dimension. It seems reasonable too me!
Anne was trapped in the crystal by the Dark Riders and Darko, and they occasionally let her out to do experiments using her powers in the Sun Circle. And then they trapped her in the crystal again. And she was in their captivity for about 4 months in the game timeline if I remember correctly.
I remeber that when Gary was here whit the Whinfell and Nixie horses he said, i dont Come often because the way is long and many mountians, we never knew where he was from, now it make so much sense
And that's why Gary is selling magic horses. He takes them from the Wildwoods. I don't remember now who said that but where we were entering the forest for the first time one of the horses said that there were more of them in the past, they only saw Gary (I'm definitely sticking to that) and a lot of their resources are gone now. Well, Gary did his job, not an especially nice one. Btw love your theories ❤
Hey Eleanor! I’m not sure if you will see this, but I had some random video ideas. One of them is the fact that the Fortuna festival randomly disappeared after 2018 (and hasn’t been mentioned since!). The other one is the fact that there is no moon in Jorvik. Both are really weird, but I thought they were worth mentioning. Hope you have an amazing day!
Eleanor I need to tell you something ok how you said the ash and Gary gold tooth thing at star-shine well I experienced that at the for grove mine thing might you a clue idk.
I think it’s interesting but strange at the same time. I will jump onto the bandwagon that Gary was the person before us, for sure, but how did Edith get in there? Yes she could have swam across, ok, but how did she avoid getting sniffed out or seen by the horses? Were they distracted? Did Edith go in there when they were fighting? Because if we are using clues, Ash is most likely... 9 from her looks, and she was around when the herds split in three, so it couldn’t have been that long since they split. If Edith went in there while the herds were splitting and distracted, it would make sense that no one saw her. That’s what I think happened to Edith adding onto the theories that Edith is the Lignos
I am gonna ask just one thing what about the pants we got in the quest (the hartwood pants), I kinda think it is somehow connected to this but I am not that sure XD (btw love ur vids!)
Just something that I realized about the Unfortunate Dews: Maya is one of them. Her last name is Dew and in the character log her family status is described as ‘Unfortunate’ (at least in Swedish). Does that debunk the theory that they’re in hiding, or does it add to it??? And if they are in hiding, why isn’t Maya???
Hmmm... Yeah Gary is definitely the one human in wildwoods And Edith has rather been suspicious to me since the beginning We found her first thing ever in that tower and that reminded me already of the halloween story Then we found her diary where a way to wildwoods was going to be And in that exact diary stood about her wanting to become a part of the forest in some kind of way and all of that? And soon after that she disappeared? Completely? It seems weird, of course the forest seems amazing but the way she talked about it... And then not to forget that the sentinel (?) tree is full of pandoric magic, we all know that something like that can never, really NEVER be safe Of course, Aideen planted the tree yeah but... it seems weird for her to put something that dangerous in there without any safety And I've been thinking, maybe the shrine(?) of the mystics is actually for safety, what if if the shrine wasn't taken care of or something the dark magic of the tree would release? But anyway, I think that Edith might've been affected by such a dark magic release, maybe she was the ranger in the tower? Maybe the dark magic corrupted her to completely do as it wills and she became one If you remember the time with Justin and the tree on south hoof, the tree talked about using Justin or something like that, maybe something similar happened with Edith Maybe the dark magic was too strong for someone like her who loves the forest to withstand Maybe the dark magic took her love for the forest to its advantage Maybe the forest took her for it's advantage
Something else just now came to my mind What if the herds almost never interact with the Lignos(?) because the Lignos are unable to? What if some dark magic holds them back? What if we, players, were brought to the wildwoods when the dark magic was rather weak for once and that we've to get the dark magic away for safety reasons? What if we've to get the herds to accept each other to get the dark magic away?
I just whant to ask some stuff if you look at the stones that the new horses are neckt to did you see that there is a simbole of Alex's simbole and the same stone is where you would have met alex and Linda and there is also one in the new wildwoods and some are broken I dont know if there are more?
Hey Eleanor! I have a idea for a good Theory about that wolf den in mistfall! All I have to go off of is that when you walk up to it, you’re player said “we should not get closer yet” YET, and if you go around to the side ish of the cave area there is dirt and the a rock in the center -I am trying my hardest to describe- but I was hoping you have a theory about this, or am I just thinking to much into it. Thank you -sky
Do we know if Gary Goldtooth is a wild whisper? I mean, I assume so since he can speak to horses (thank you starshine trailer glitch). Maybe Edith managed to take the form of some sort of creature to enter. Maybe she fused her soul into a horse, and that's how she got in. She was pretending to be a horse, and no one questioned it. There's no proof to that, just something I thought up.
Good point! I *was* wondering what made Gary able to talk to them (Rosemary did say "And you can even understand us! You must be like the old bearded one") 🤔 he could actually be a wild whisperer
@@eleanornightwalker Well that could be a possibility. I am looking forward to see what SSO does with that story later in the process. Do you have any theories on what area is next to be released? 👀
I feel like Edith would (like you & other SSO players said,) be a deer , or, if you look on your map, where the firgrove mountain passage leads to Tail top and the other part of Wildwoods, there is a small bit of unknown land below it, (the top one will probably lead to Ash land, or another part of dino) i feel like that's where edith went, and so it'll be like another part of Mistfall/Wildwoods . though I haven't seen sso or any body talk about it, and don't have much evidence about it.
I think Edith may have turned into a male because you may know that when Concorde was reborn he turned into a she, Edith probably died and then turned into a male deer.
maybe edith becoming a lingos is related to your theory of catherine becoming a horse? forgive me if thats not your theory, i watch too much of this kind of stuff

Fun fact that is so random and doesn't have anything to that video: I once had a dream about the character update, or shall i say hair update- .-. yeaah, i dreamed about more hairstyles in sso ;-;
i think we should take gender out of the equation for the lignos because concorde reincarnated and became female, so it's plausible that edith could be the lignos, despite the fact that she's a woman.
When you unlock the Gray World road and the wild horse stops you he talks about that some horses leave Wild Woods accompanied with the bearded one I don't know if this is related to anything but I wanted to let you know

ok not to bother u but uh i wrote something a bit ago and im not sure if you saw it or not so here it is: i have an idea for a vid u could do-- there's this trend called the iceberg, and there are 7 levels, the first one being very well-known things about your topic, and the last one being something about your topic that barely anyone knows. you put different things on different levels according to how well-known they are and then you explain them. an example is northflower's warriors iceberg. you could do this for star stable, maybe? with your theories?
damn, i'm gonna be honest, i don't really care that much about wild woods, i just wanna see more of the harvest county story... like discover who is mrs x etc
What if Gary and Edith were the same person because he/she/they is able to shapeshift at will 👀👀👀 (I really have no idea what I'm talking about. I need to go to bed)
I honestly really dislike the idea of talking horses in sso. It doesn’t fit. However I love the idea of a tribes of people with the same ability to talk to horses as our character. They could live alongside the horses and somehow teach the horses human skills. The other idea that could be cool is if those tribes of people became horses and that’s how the horses evolved to talk and make things. I don’t love the idea of us being able to own horses with the ability to talk (not like Starshine and the other star breed horses but able to actually speak) because it feels a bit like slavery
I know this video was made 6 months ago, but I can never hold back on theories! This may sound weird, but maybe Lignos were originally wild deer, who either looked the way they look now originally or maybe they even had a normal coat before someone became the Lignos. Maybe this is why the Lignos is considered a boy, if Edith took the place of this Lignos, the gender of the Lignos can't magically change right? That would be awkward... this might not make sense on how I described it, but it's the only way I can think of explaining. Thanks for making awesome theory videos, they're super entertaining. :)
I've heard there was another mention of a Lignos during the Justin Wild Whisperer quest line, when we asked the South Hoof tree for help. Like it mentioned it can merge with Justin and made him its slave or smth.

I considered the possibility of the two stories being combined - that something made Edith go mad in the fire spotter tower and that she became a Lignos through dark magic 🤔 but then again, she seemingly wanted to protect the Jorvik wilds, so it's probably more likely that she willingly gave herself to the life wardens 🤷♀️
Edit: but I have to say, the fact that it's even possible to become one through dark magic definitely tells me that there's a darker and more important side to this story that we have yet to explore

Maybe do a theory discussion about the sentinel tree because I think it’s pandoric.
it makes a lot of sense to say the tree is pandoric, you can tell just by looking at it, and it explains the blue coloring of the jorvik wilds (a result of being near 'magical' energy)
but i'm not sure we can say the sentinel tree actually harms the horses because (as far as i remember) they were created by aideen to protect jorvik and its horses? i mean...its in the name...'sentinel'... anyways i dont think the lignos (or assumably Edith) is protecting the wilds FROM the tree so much as WITH the tree. especially considering the way the mystics regard it.

This theory makes so much sense, if Gary goes into wild woods often then that’s probably how he finds all those magic horses
It makes me wonder though where all those horses came from if not the wild woods, and where on earth is the Embermane herd?0
There have been more people suggesting that, although if that is the case, it's weird hoe they specify that there's only been one 🤔 could be though!
And oh yes I have a theory about Gary too:
Gary seems to put the wild horses in Fort Pinta, Firgrove, and near Moorland. It's all very well that most players unlock these pretty early on in the game, but could these areas be linked to Wild Woods? We know that Firgrove has it's own passage to Wild Woods, and his new wagon is located *JUST* outside of it! I don't have a great theory for why he changed to mainly Moorland and Fort Pinta, but I think the sso team wanted to leave Firgrove alone for a bit as the Starshine thing and of course the Wagon, which are both close to it
Wow my fingers hurt from writing this
I also thought about the link between Firgrove and Wildwoods! It makes sense why Gary would set up his horse market outside Firgrove if he goes in and out of Wildwoods, it's so close and all
Wow, I think you’re right. I think when Edith went to the wildwoods, she had a choice or something: she becames a protector of wildwoods or she leave. This is my theory😂
Sorry for my bad english
Is it just me or am I so surprised whenever i watch these videos I get so surprised
Aw thank youuu 🥰🥰🥰
I totally agree with this. It was bugging me too that the horses said only 1 human ventured into the Wild Woods before, while Gary and Edith are 2 humans instead of one. Her becoming one with the forest and having a possibility to actually become it as a lignos, it almost can't have any other explanation. We even get clothes as a reward for quests, I think that is more to show how she dressed, to get an idea of her and to add curiousity for the mystery.
I love your theory videos i watch them everyday
I love the theory video's too!
He still looks like Gray could be someone's grandpa
@@sirenserenades I think its going to connect to Ashland, or connect to the little area of space thats not unlocked. (u can see it on the map)
@@sirenserenades I'm talking about the little gap going into the mountains of Jor, near the part where you can unlock a trail wiith Alonso. :)
Omg this makes so much sense! I totaly agree with you! Also love your theories. You always think about things that I would never realize!
When you remeber the rant on the discord about this you were watching at 1am ELEANOR GURLL YOU ACTULLY LISTEN TO USSSS
Love these videos actually all of them Eleanor you are so sweet
wait people doubted the fact that gary is the one? its obvious. everytime he comes with the magical wild horses he says something similar to ”i got them from a place north of mistfall”
I thought it was either hermit or evergray!
Sameeeee
It would make sense but the thing is, the horses in wild woods dont have a magical coat change so where would he be getting the horses from (gary goldtooth is who i talking about)
I also think that the cart in wild woods would mean gary is about to get mroe horses to sell and we meet him adn then there will be a WHOLE new quest, edith said she became one with the forest so maybe she became like that before the herd could see her
I wonder that too 🤔 like what is the connection between the magic horses and Wildwoods? Does the sentinel tree have something to do with it?
Maybe, but the magic horses (old models that change coats) are not related to pandoric energy. idk tho
I feel like they all merged with animals
May be Ebeth had a baby and named him Gary. but I really like your theory
Meme:
The person who was in the woods before us was the random girl who boosts up your horse (levels up your horse)
Yeah and one crazy theory, what if the deer is Catherine :,D
Could be!
I remeber that when Gary was here whit the Whinfell and Nixie horses he said, i dont Come often because the way is long and many mountians, we never knew where he was from, now it make so much sense
This one I really think would be true, and I really hope it will be!
Her:hello hello hello
Me:wAiT Is ShE oK
And that's why Gary is selling magic horses. He takes them from the Wildwoods. I don't remember now who said that but where we were entering the forest for the first time one of the horses said that there were more of them in the past, they only saw Gary (I'm definitely sticking to that) and a lot of their resources are gone now. Well, Gary did his job, not an especially nice one. Btw love your theories ❤
Now we know it was gary
Oh my goshhhh your so good at this you should be a detectivee
I think it's both Gary and Edith, and that sso just forgot that only one person was there, since Athena has a bunch of gifts from Gary
Gary goldtooth could've gone to wild woods and that's where he got the magic horses from!
I have subbed to MANY sso channels, but YOU may be my favorite.. shhhhh. Don't tell Violet.... xD
Hmmm...
Yeah Gary is definitely the one human in wildwoods
And Edith has rather been suspicious to me since the beginning
We found her first thing ever in that tower and that reminded me already of the halloween story
Then we found her diary where a way to wildwoods was going to be
And in that exact diary stood about her wanting to become a part of the forest in some kind of way and all of that?
And soon after that she disappeared?
Completely?
It seems weird, of course the forest seems amazing but the way she talked about it...
And then not to forget that the sentinel (?) tree is full of pandoric magic, we all know that something like that can never, really NEVER be safe
Of course, Aideen planted the tree yeah but... it seems weird for her to put something that dangerous in there without any safety
And I've been thinking, maybe the shrine(?) of the mystics is actually for safety, what if if the shrine wasn't taken care of or something the dark magic of the tree would release?
But anyway, I think that Edith might've been affected by such a dark magic release, maybe she was the ranger in the tower? Maybe the dark magic corrupted her to completely do as it wills and she became one
If you remember the time with Justin and the tree on south hoof, the tree talked about using Justin or something like that, maybe something similar happened with Edith
Maybe the dark magic was too strong for someone like her who loves the forest to withstand
Maybe the dark magic took her love for the forest to its advantage
Maybe the forest took her for it's advantage
Something else just now came to my mind
What if the herds almost never interact with the Lignos(?) because the Lignos are unable to? What if some dark magic holds them back?
What if we, players, were brought to the wildwoods when the dark magic was rather weak for once and that we've to get the dark magic away for safety reasons?
What if we've to get the herds to accept each other to get the dark magic away?
I just whant to ask some stuff if you look at the stones that the new horses are neckt to did you see that there is a simbole of Alex's simbole and the same stone is where you would have met alex and Linda and there is also one in the new wildwoods and some are broken I dont know if there are more?
It turned out to be Gary hahaha...Bit who knows - myb herds don't know humans are watching them (myb some npc with secrete plans)
there is a new reputation too
I love your intro ahahaha

Hey Eleanor! I have a idea for a good Theory about that wolf den in mistfall! All I have to go off of is that when you walk up to it, you’re player said “we should not get closer yet” YET, and if you go around to the side ish of the cave area there is dirt and the a rock in the center -I am trying my hardest to describe- but I was hoping you have a theory about this, or am I just thinking to much into it. Thank you -sky
That’s a great theory!
@@maplemarblez Really?!? Thank you! Haha
What If Catherine became one with the Wildwoods as a Jorvik wild? 🤫
I thought about that too 👀 what if she didn't become a horse, but a lignos?
@@eleanornightwalker Well that could be a possibility. I am looking forward to see what SSO does with that story later in the process. Do you have any theories on what area is next to be released? 👀
lol i got Harry potter vibes from this :P
I feel like Edith would (like you & other SSO players said,) be a deer , or, if you look on your map, where the firgrove mountain passage leads to Tail top and the other part of Wildwoods, there is a small bit of unknown land below it, (the top one will probably lead to Ash land, or another part of dino) i feel like that's where edith went, and so it'll be like another part of Mistfall/Wildwoods . though I haven't seen sso or any body talk about it, and don't have much evidence about it.
NOOOOO OLD STEVE IS GETTING A UPDATE NOOOOO
Dang it posted 1 hour ago
I think Edith may have turned into a male because you may know that when Concorde was reborn he turned into a she, Edith probably died and then turned into a male deer.
maybe edith becoming a lingos is related to your theory of catherine becoming a horse? forgive me if thats not your theory, i watch too much of this kind of stuff
Yeah, more people have suggested that and it's definitely an interesting thought! What if she didn't become a horse, but a lignos? 🤔
Oh no, why are there no subtitles here (I'm talking about TH-cam subtitles). I don't really understand English by ear and subtitles have always helped :(
Fun fact that is so random and doesn't have anything to that video: I once had a dream about the character update, or shall i say hair update- .-. yeaah, i dreamed about more hairstyles in sso ;-;
i think we should take gender out of the equation for the lignos because concorde reincarnated and became female, so it's plausible that edith could be the lignos, despite the fact that she's a woman.
When you unlock the Gray World road and the wild horse stops you he talks about that some horses leave Wild Woods accompanied with the bearded one
I don't know if this is related to anything but I wanted to let you know
So I'am pretty sure its gary
Sometimes I wonder how Ydris to Jorvik, I mean sure he could've opened a portal but other times I wonder how long yards has been in Jorvik as far we know yards is from pandoria, though are all pandorians extremely powerful?? I doubt that.

Nice suggestion! I'm gonna think about that 😁😁

But what about aideen that planted the tree?
What if Gary and Edith were the same person because he/she/they is able to shapeshift at will 👀👀👀
(I really have no idea what I'm talking about.
I don’t love the idea of us being able to own horses with the ability to talk (not like Starshine and the other star breed horses but able to actually speak) because it feels a bit like slavery
no dislikes- whoa

I know this video was made 6 months ago, but I can never hold back on theories! This may sound weird, but maybe Lignos were originally wild deer, who either looked the way they look now originally or maybe they even had a normal coat before someone became the Lignos. Maybe this is why the Lignos is considered a boy, if Edith took the place of this Lignos, the gender of the Lignos can't magically change right? That would be awkward... this might not make sense on how I described it, but it's the only way I can think of explaining. Thanks for making awesome theory videos, they're super entertaining. :)
