Lego really gunna take my money thanks to some random video that showed up in my feed huh. *sighs* god damn it. It's not because I once recreated this exact scene using one of the creator sets that had a shark and the movie pause with the Orca on screen while I made my own version of it. No. Not at all.
Wait, this package doesn't contain plastic packaging for the Lego Jaws Set? Oh, no... I really hope this isn't a sign for a potential "plastic-free packaging" future as the paper packaging SUCKS. It's not only nowhere near as durable as plastic packaging, you can't even see what's inside, so for all we know there could be missing pieces, or incorrect pieces, or something else entirely, not to mention it just kinda makes it feel more like fast food bags than actual exciting toys. Plus, the toys themselves are still made of plastic... 😒 The Set is really nice, and the result is absolutely amazing though (although, the quote on the small black piece says "You're gonna need a bigger boat." It's "WE'RE gonna need a bigger boat." Not a huge deal like the stupid paper packaging, but I thought I'd mention it real quick)! I especially love the blood effects of Jaws getting blown up just like in the movie! 👍Another excellent build! Here's hoping we'll still have plastic packaging, and toys in the future! 🙏
I think this set is perfect for the value and the boat is extremely detailed
But the bow section is a nightmare to build! Tempted with getting out the superglue LOL
You taught me that i can be a lego builder and now 18+ lego sets for me are really easy as a 11 year old
18+ means it’s for display, it is lacking play functions. You can build 5+ sets at 3 years old, or 9+ at 25, it’s simply a number.

Lego really need to use the 18+ sets for mature themes instead of using it for 10000+ pieces sets.

The only reason they do the 18+ marketing is because these sets are meant to be display models, not toys.
It’s to also appeal to an older audience.
Speak for yourself. I built this 15 years ago with my piss poor lego collection. This is exactly what I wanted.

bow flimsy, tail section flimsy, and some of the "waves" on the base are flimsy as well. Still love it 🙂

Not got that far, no.4 keeps breaking up on me, the bow section
@@shaka7594 Found the same but got there in the end. The mast is a bit wobbly but once you've got the ropes up it somewhat secures it.

I don't mind the paper packaging to be honest BUT what I did notice was bits get stuck in the corners so beware.............
