    Thank you so very much for all of your great lessons/videos. The only good thing to come out of being quarantined right now is that I have time to do Spanish lessons daily. My speaking has greatly improved. Muchas gracias de Seattle.

    When you said that demasiado doesn’t always follow gender/plurality, my brain melted.
    I can’t believe I never knew that.
    I have gradually learned that if many English learners say something incorrectly (or not quite right) in English, I need to be sure I’m not saying it incorrectly in Spanish. For example, I have often heard people say ‘I give classes’ rather than ‘I teach classes’, because in Spanish it’s often said ‘doy clases’. Or, many say ‘I’ll get down from the car’, instead of ‘I’ll get out of the car’, because in Spanish they say ‘voy a bajar del carro’.

    Do you do sentence structure in the course you offer? Like all the extra “a” and “que” and other connecting words they use? It seems like there’s a lot of extra words added when speaking that are just there but don’t have a literal meaning...

    Can you use El and ella before "Es demasiado......"? Otherwise we don't know if it's he or she or whatever.

    Por favor,¿ Cómo se pronuncia la palabra "ruido" en español? ¿ cuántos silabas hay ¿ Dos o tres? Las vocales "u" y "i" hacen un diptóngo ,por lo tanto hay solo un sonido.Por lo tanto el sonido debe ser "rui/do". ¿Qué piensas ? ¡Gracias por su repuesta!

    He estudiado bastante (adverbio) el español, pero todavía comito demasiados errores (adjetivo.)😀 ¡Me parece que hay bastantes reglas raras (ajectivo) como esa para aprender!😜 Gracias por tu ayuda a repasar estas.👍

    Do you mean if a noun comes after demasiada it is unchangeable if an adjective comes after it its changeable

    • @larrynarvaez7545
      @larrynarvaez7545 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think he means that if a noun comes after demasiado, demasiado is an adjective and agrees in number and gender with the noun it modifies. When an adjective comes after demasiado, demasiado is an adverb and, as such, does not change (stays as demasiado). ✌️

  • @edwardmoran1739

    Finally one I did not like; still not clear on when to change demasiado and bastante. Now I have to stop and figure out whether it is adverb or adjective. Could not get my gringo brain around that.

    Hi, where can we use the wead demasiado and mucho???

    • @yndorian1
      @yndorian1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      "Demasiado" is used when we are talking about an excess, per example "es demasiado grande" (it is too big) The phrase has a negative connotation ... the size is a problem for us, because the thing is more big than acceptable... "Mucho" indicates a large amount, but it is a neutral word, it can be positive or negative according to the context. Per example: "me gusta mucho" is positive (I like it very much). "Has bebido mucho" (You have drunk a lot) it probably means that the person has drunk more than normal and it is not good, but still less than "demasiado"

    ugh. i cannot say the word "raro". it comes out as rah-roh or ill say rah-doh. That first "r" is difficult for me to roll. i need TONS more practice.

  • @le_onnik

    I love these courses, many thanks. But i need to address what i hope to be a constructive comment;
    At the moment you ask what is ".........." in spanish, i start trying to translate it. Then you repeat the question ending with 'what would that be?'
    This is disctracting me from trying to translate it in my head. The workflow is not fluent like that.
    Anyone else experiencing this?
