    The hawk has a different name in every video? There's two pictures and four hawk names so far.

      I have similar issue, and found out it's because topic name in client.subscribe is incorrect.

    Getting error when starting node: client.subscribe("SenderLookup", async function({ task, taskService }) {
    ^^^^^
    SyntaxError: missing ) after argument list
    code looks identical to example except using my own topic names. Any suggestions?

    can this external client also be used to start a process

    • @CamundaTeam
      @CamundaTeam  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Elijah - An External task wouldn't be needed for starting a process because there is no requirement for a fetch and lock system.
      Instead you could simply use a service that just sends a single rest call to start the process when needed. Hope this helps!
