This circuit was developed by Paul Horowitz and illustrates the solution of the three simultaneous differential equations developed by Edward Lorenz. The Lorenz system illustrates chaotic behavior, much like most highly dynamical systems in our universe, such as galaxies, clouds and fluid flow.
