I can't understand why sniper has average dmg, this weapon is rare, it won't return for a long time after update. Cuber Railgun definitely needs a small buff

You're right Target freeze, based on the description, is basically the slow down effect, but the slow down depends on how many times you were hit by one weapon. I was once being hit multiple times by a guy using the Ice Giant Rifle, and I think I maye have seen that happen. I don't think it stays on you until death.
Drot the pixel rotater actually has a tiny hidden area damage effect if u test it in polygon u can see u don’t have to hit the enemies directly but around their feet to hurt them

They will likely include every category when adding weapons to an update, so you could give this same reaction to the addition of other weapons from other categories, but you focus only on the sniper category. I mean, the weapons in this event aren't all that op. The barrier on the melee is strong, but you're not invincible, and the damage isn't high. The railgun is just average. The primary is also average when compared to all the high dps primaries we have.
Weapons are pretty mid ngl. Sniper has average damage, the melee does trash damage cause of aoe rework, and primary is easily outclassed. Oh well, better luck next time. 😊

I don't really think it is. Low damage output, but it has a strong barrier. That doesn't make you invincible, but you at least live longer.
The melee is literally only worth it for the Barrier effect, the rest is at most average... expected more for this cycle
