- AFTERBUZZ TV - AfterBuzz TV’s Spotlight On edition, is a long form interview series featuring Actors and TV personalities discussing their roles and shows as well as their thoughts, passions and journeys. In this episode hosts Kelly McInerney and Joyce Ajouri interviews Noel Fisher.
Noel’s bio: Originally from Vancouver, B.C. Fisher has been steadily gaining momentum as an actor since he was 14 years old. His very first role was in the TV movie The Sheldon Kennedy Story (1999) for CBC in 1999. The part landed Fisher his first Gemini nomination, [the equivalent to the U.S. Primetime Emmy Awards] which was followed with a second nomination for his work on the hit Canadian series Godiva’s (2005).
Once gaining traction in Canada, Fisher proved that his talent would translate to the US market, appearing in the blockbuster Columbia feature film Battle Los Angeles (2011), with his portrayal of rookie Marine “Pfc. Shaun Lenihan opposite Aaron Eckhart. He has also made his mark in television, appearing on top series such as Two and a Half Men (2003), The Mentalist (2008) ,and Medium (2005), a recurring role on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), Huff (2004),” and Bones (2005). In 2008, he went to Sundance with the independent film Red (2008) alongside with Brian Cox. 2010 was a standout year for Fisher, as he was seen in the Emmy-winning miniseries The Pacific (2010),” the follow up to the hit miniseries Band of Brothers (2001). His other television credits from the past two years include solid performances in Lie to Me (2009), FX’s Terriers (2010), Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior (2011) and TNT’s Dark Blue (2009).” Audiences may best remember Fisher from his breakout performance in the critically acclaimed FX series The Riches (2007), portraying Cal, the conniving and clever son of Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver.
In 2012, Fisher can be seen with a supporting role as “Vladimir”, a Romanian vampire in the final chapter of the worldwide phenomenon, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 (2012). In addition to Twilight, Fisher has been recurring as “Mickey Milkovich” opposite William H. Macy and Emmy Rossum on the hit Showtime series Shameless (2011). It was recently announced that he would be joining the cast as a series regular, for season three. In May 2012, Fisher can also be seen in the highly anticipated, History Channel miniseries Hatfields & McCoys (2012) as “Ellison ‘Cotton Top’ Mounts” opposite Kevin Costner, Bill Paxton, and Jena Malone.
When not working, Fisher loves to go camping, go to the beach, and just hang out at home with a good movie and frozen yogurt. He is also an animal lover and supports the efforts of The Humane Society of the United States, and he supports Visual Impact Now. - บันเทิง

They keep saying Turtles is such a different role for him having to play a comedian after such a "dark role" on Shameless, but like, am I the only one who finds Micky Milkovich HILARIOUS?
Mickey's humor just comes out naturally but not necessarily in a humorous way which is why a lot of people miss it. I myself love it & think he has the best 1 liners. "This ain't Macy's bitch & u ain't window shopping". Love it!

you know he's a good actor. when his personality is completely different from that of the character, and that makes you shock.
2 seconds in and I already cant stop swooning over how adorable he is oh my gosh lol
I just want to say thank you to Noel for what he said 9:29-9:30, because that is exactly the problem I have with a lot of other gay characters on TV. Take Ethan from Teen Wolf for example. Every time there is a scene with him, it's only to re-emphasize that he's gay, as if to say: Look at how diverse this show is with it's one gay character! The show completely ignores that this character is also brilliant with computers and with hacking and stuff, they only mention it in one episode. A character's sexuality should be part of who he/she is, not all of who he/she is.

I love the comfortable interview stylings of these ladies and I love how enthusiastic and open Noel Fisher is! I think he honestly looks amazing in his Mickey character... he should just keep the black hair lol. Great job ladies!

Lol, the difference is that in person he's actually a lot cleaner than Mickey on the show.. Also, he wears different types of clothes than Mickey does.
