I can not tell you how many times I have listened to this series over the past year up until now. I would also like to add this one tid-bit. It is up to each and every person that proclaims the name of Jesus to read their bible for themselves. I can tell people about Jesus and His soon coming but if people don't get to know Jesus for themselves than I feel that decision is on them. I spend more time praying now that the Holy Spirit be with those that He had me speak with that they will do just that.... Read their bible and find Jesus for themselves. He's not that hard to find! It seems to me that Jesus has allowed imperfect man to write certain things, and the translators to leave out or insert minor things to test us: will we reject the truths we have learned by reason of those things that do not seem to make sense to us? These things we struggle with are biblical road humps that we must endeavour to overcome (as with everything else in our lives) through learning to humble ourselves before God and continue to hold on tightly to those things we understand in His Word until He gives insight into those things we can't understand.

You are making some good points but I have a problem when you say the church is conspiring against the truth. I believe we should be careful in some of the statements we make because the church defective as it may it is still God's. If there happen to be men who are against the truth (whether high-ups or wherever placed) let's be very careful not make their position the position of the church. You have made some good points and Stephen Bohr has made his observations which also has some good points. But the problem is when we simply dismiss the other's points of view on issues that may not be really clear cut. We will never see all things the same and on some points we'll have agree to disagree but we should make sure we agree on the main points of our faith and ACTUALLY carry our final work (3 Angels messages) forward to the finish. I believe the most important thing about the 144000 that we risk missing is that, it is most important to allow God to work in us to be part of the 144000 than to be right on whether it is symbolic or not. By God's grace let me and you be part of the 144000 and when we discover the truth about it at the end then it won't matter much because we'll be in. I'm more biased towards the 144000 being a small number because Revelation 13 talks about the WHOLE WORLD wondering after the beast but then chapter 14 then lets us know that it is not literally the whole world but there was a SMALL REMNANT. In other statements SOP mentions that Satan sees this little number that denies him total world domination and therefore wants to wipe it out to have his universal domination. But I'm not averse to other people who hold a different opinion, because I might actually learn something from them which might enhance my understanding or even solidify my position. So what I am simply saying is that let us not try to be authoritative in subject areas that we don't have license to. Sometimes, I believe it is enough to just state your view without disparaging others (I'm often the culprit of this though). This applies to Pastor Bohr and to everyone of us. Last point: How do you reply to Revelation 7:15 in regard to what Pastor Bohr has said?
Maybe 144,000 just be possibly the living that are alive when Jesus comes back and the number no man could count could be the dead in Christ down through time since the beginning starting with Adam. 144000 are going to face a time of trouble since no man has ever seen that has been on the earth correct? What got me to investigating her weightings, and I sold her book at one time, was when some in my church said EGW said that black pepper had no nutritional value that is was only a irritant. So I looked it up on the internet and found that black pepper does have nutritional value it contains vitamins and is used in some supplements to increase their absorbent. Another thing that she teaches that I don't believe to be biblical is where she says that the Mark of the Beast will not be instilled on man until the very last days. But If you die then your fate is sealed, you are sealed for God or for Satan, So I don't believe her theory on that, if a man is evil when he dies his fate is sealed he will receive the Mark of the Beast. Another one of her teachings is that Jesus thought that he was going to die the eternal death when he was on the cross. So I asked the elders in my church, Did Jesus cease to be God while he was on the cross and most of them said no He didn't cease to be God while he was on the cross and I asked them to explain the theory that EGW teaches that Jesus thought He was going to die the eternal death. Jesus said more times that one that he must die and on the third day be would be raised up from the dead, so if He was still God on the cross did he forget what he said, I don't think so. I know she was a very smart woman and a great story teller, just like a author that makes a book come alive and yes I believe she had many different gifts but then we all have many different gifts but that doesn't make us all prophets. Am I to understand that the Great multitude and the 144,000 are the same? John said that after the 144,000 he saw a great multitude. Rev 8:9

I know she was a very smart woman and a great story teller, just like a author that makes a book come alive and yes I believe she had many different gifts but then we all have many different gifts but that doesn't make us all prophets.
