I am so happy I got a chance to go. It was only one time and I almost didn't go, listening to my sister. She told me that wouldn't like it, but my Christian friends said go for myself. So, I boarded a bus load of fellow church friends and travelled to The Holy Land Experience. So very glad I did!! Best trip I've ever made. I knew the actors were not Dear Jesus, so I imagined that it was Jesus that touched me and prayed over me. The songs were so inspiring. I wished that I could have gone again.. if only I had known it was closing I would have gone again very soon!! I still think about the beauty and awe of that place. I will surely miss that place. Looking forward to the real Jesus and the new Jerusalem when our Savior returns. Amen👏👏👏
Oh no. why? We never heard of this place too, but thanks to our friend who told us. We were there this Feb and was touched by the place and their stage shows. We planned of going back and bring friends to watch their Christmas or Holy Week presentation. I guess, that won't happen if they're closing. Holy Land Orlando is the hidden gem. It's sad they'll close.

Say what you what about the concept of the overall park but the actual musical programs they had were of high quality with amazing talent. I would've considered watching this
I'm lucky we were able to go back once more before the virus shut everything down but they were schedule to close regardless, but based on the timing of the last show date, we were planning to go once more before the end but the virus messed that up.

They are still holding church services but since the park is now sold to Advent Health I am wondering if that includes the church too? Will the church have to evacuate and find another location?

My son and I will miss the shows they had before the change. My son, a teenager at that time was so moved by the performances they had then. The auditorium was filled to capacity every time we went. The last time we went in 2016, it was not the same. That joyful spirit wasn't there anymore. They even had armed guards at the entrance. That was a turnoff for me. Maybe if they put the guards in the park's costumes. They need to sell dvds of the shows they had before 2015.

When Jan Crouch was live she ran the Holy Land theme park. When she passed away her son Matt Crouch took over leadership of TBN and guess he felt at the time it was time to close The Holy Land. TBN has always been greedy and since the Holy Land was not bringing any money like it did when it first opened, when Jan Crouch was alive. I blame Matt Crouch for the closing of The Holy Land.
It breaks my heart to hear they are selling. This was the TBN mother's pride. I had seen her there at one of my visits. But, after she died her son made huge changes. The park didn't seem the same anymore. But the shows have always been amazing and now they said no more entertainment, since when the story of Yeshua and the Bible ever been an entertainment!!!! Shame on you, if your mom would not be sleeping she would be turning in her grave.
I emailed TBN Paul & Jan Crouch before they bought this Park, then I wrote about my idea to Build a Large Church in the Country 50 miles from 4 Large City's N.S.E.W. my idea was that each Sunday a different Church Denomination would Book this Mega Church & gather together under their Denomination's Faith Following, so Catholic then Baptist, then Lutheran, Pentecostal,7th day advents, Jehovah witness, Amish, etc. It gave an excuse to go for a Family Sunday Drive & join in a Jamboree with Members of their Church they never met & start Pen Palling & 3 or 4 Ministers would take turns giving a Message to a Larger Body of their "CHURCH" Jan built the Church of all Nations after I sent that message about a Year later. I am King David for God loves me because I sing to him, walking the woods, Parks, streets with a song in my Heart & God gifts me with ideas & solutions the Sheople ignore, do not hear my voice,, but I am the greatest singer of all... Holy in presence & gifting my tongue laugh with me Jesus, swing & be fun, holding the mercy & gripping my none, none who will hear me, not hearing I sung.

He's given me a vision, we've had dialogue, when I was young about my teen years I would have demonic dreams, especially everytime I tried to read the bible and the dreams would be so horrible I'd cry, but later on in life I'd have a child and dream I was in an apartment in one room frantically trying to get myself and my daughter dressed and run out this house because in the bathroom smoke was coming from underneath the door lights were flashing the door was shaking like one trying to get out I could sense the presents of evil, but before we could escape the entity would burst out of the room come to my room a black shadow with read eyes hovering in front us I would by nature being a mother get immediate courage put my child behind me and say to the entity, I want let you scare me from reading my bible anymore, from getting to know God anymore, I'm going to read the word and I'mma be ready for you after that dream I prayed to God not to have anymore of those horrible dreams until I learn his word, so I can fight this entity that torments me in my dreams, so he took the dreams away, and when I would learn his word, I guess he felt I was ready I would have a dream in the dream I would try chasing the entity reciting scripture that entity was gone so fast I couldn't keep up it ran like the speed of light, and after that the dreams never came again so that part of my life was defeated with the word of God. After fasting and praying for two and a half months, I thought I was fasting for myself, that was my intentions, but during this fast everytime I kneeled to pray, I would find myself praying for my unsaved husband everytime, and I would be like uhmm ok. So when the fast would end, I'm at in the kitchen frying chicken, my husband in our room which is on the otherside of the kitchen just a wall separating the rooms so where I'm frying chicken his on the otherside of that wall, so for some reason I have a scense that God is telling me to rebuke satan, I didn't know why everything seemed fine but I was like ok so standing in the kitchen I said, satan the Lord rebukes you, I thought to say it once but it came out three times, and was like oookay? Than I went back to checking and flipping the chicken so as I'm checking chicken a black like cloud looking thing comes out from the wall I'm looking at it floating by and than fade away, for some reason I wasn't scared which kinda confused me but I know now because God was in the midst, so I was like I dont know what's going on but Imma just go on doing what I'm doing so my boys are running around the house chasing each other and saying daddy's crying daddy's crying, and I'm not paying attention to them like they're just little kids playing saying random things, so as I'm making plates my daughter is sitting in a chair at the table and says why is daddy crying I turned around to see my husband crying he falls in my arms now he's a big man he's 6"2 I'm 5"4 so I still confused I lower him to the living and while I'm sitting on the couch he's on his knees and I'm hold him as he cries like a new born baby, and I'm just waiting for him to calm down because he was trying to tell me something but crying too hard, so when he would finally calm down, I asked him what happened, he said, he was in our room and asked God if he was real, and he didn't know what it was but I told him he had a vision, he said he was in a field it was beautiful like little house on the prairie, then he saw two doors like in the cowboy movies, and they opened and he felt God, he felt the most beautiful feeling, indescribable feeling of love, joy, peace, he was trying his best to describe this feeling and I said to him that's the feeling I've been trying to describe to you it's hard to describe, you have to experience it for yourself and now you know, I could go on and on sir with my relationship with God, see this for me is not fictional, I have what everyone is searching for in all the wrong places, I was one of them till I found him my perception has changed, success to me is making it to heaven to spend eternity with him, in him I'm free, fulfilled, complete, whole, found, this life is a beautiful life, he is my exceedingly great reward and I pray you find him, the bible says, you will seek me and find me when you seek for me with all of your heart, I pray you chose the love of Christ, he loves you far passed your understanding. If they made money it would not have had to close. That was the whole problem. They lost money. In it's history, I don't think it ever profited, but was sustained a long time by donations and a wealthy TBN who clearly did not want to continue losing money anymore, but with a comment like yours I'm not surprised... what would one expect from a fallen world of selfish, greedy pigs that reject God, spend a fortune entertaining themselves and then ridicule a little Christian Park for trying to entertain people while sharing the Gospel. This was not a church! It was an entertainment venue just in case you are not familiar with the difference. I know many of the actors that performed there and they are true Christians and they are still sharing the Gospel one way or another even though they have all had to go look for new jobs elsewhere. So, your judgement is way off.
Some of the painted backdrops and the kids games could have been improved or removed, but I'm so sorry that it closed because the live performances look wonderful. After seeing Satan in the flesh as president from 2016 to 2020, it is touching to see people portraying Goodness in the flesh. Those people worked hard to lift us up and remind us that there is hope (which is the opposite of what our GOP did.) I wish this would never be able to be used for anything other than this theme park. Bring it back.

They did not advertise well enough locally and otherwise to really bring in the numbers needed to sustain it.

If they made money it would not have had to close. That was the whole problem. They lost money. In it's history, I don't think it ever profited, but was sustained a long time by donations and a wealthy TBN who clearly did not want to continue losing money anymore, but with a comment like yours I'm not surprised... what would one expect from a fallen world of selfish, greedy pigs that reject God, spend a fortune entertaining themselves and then ridicule a little Christian Park for trying to entertain people while sharing the Gospel. This was not a church! It was an entertainment venue just in case you are not familiar with the difference. I know many of the actors that performed there and they are true Christians and they are still sharing the Gospel one way or another even though they have all had to go look for new jobs elsewhere. So, your judgement is way off.
Some of the painted backdrops and the kids games could have been improved or removed, but I'm so sorry that it closed because the live performances look wonderful. After seeing Satan in the flesh as president from 2016 to 2020, it is touching to see people portraying Goodness in the flesh. Those people worked hard to lift us up and remind us that there is hope (which is the opposite of what our GOP did.) I wish this would never be able to be used for anything other than this theme park. Bring it back.
