Pat loves her 2020 Hyundai (as in Sunday) Elantra Limited for work. It's our 4th Hyundai Elantra driven by the family. The buttons are easy to use. I do the same as you. I will drive the Hyundai in parking lots where it gets a little tight for the Chevy 3500. We have gotten as high as 40 mph highway.
I've got an '08 GLS that I had bought almost new at the time. It's currently my son's daily and serves as a backup for me since he's an online student and hardly ever drives. It's at about 155k and I've kept up with service like the timing belt and water pump. It's needed some repair here and there but has mostly held up pretty well. Thanks for providing links to things like the DIN dash replacement. I've been thinking about adding a modern head unit to the old car.
I have this car, same year. I live in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 and it’s always sunny, so the paint is not that great. But it’s responsive and saves a lot of fuel. It’s 150k miles. Already changed the timing belt myself. Also every 10k miles I change the oil and filter with synthetic, I clean the MAF sensor, throttle body and air filter, put some grease to the ball joints and take out all 4 injectors and clean them. Every time I fill my gas tank, I put 2 oz of Lucas. It keeps the injectors clean till service at the next 10k. Maybe I’m a little obsessive with my car service, but it keeps the car in great shape. I know people with the same car and having random issues with it cause they don’t do their service in time.
I really hate to be that guy, but 10k for an oil change is probably too long. I change mine every 4k miles. The service manual for the hyundai elantra 2007-2010 suggests an oil change every 3,750 miles
I'm making 38.5 MPG on freeway or highway, but you go at almost 90MPH. What can you expect? mine is 2008 automatic with 177K miles and it sound exactly as first day.
I asked a question about your older F series pickukp fuel tank video, but go no response. The larger fuel tank you link to on Amazon, what type of ford truck is that tank out of?
Definitely would want to do a thorough checkup of its condition. Check for oil leaks, coolant leaks, strange noises, rust. If the owner of the car has not kept up with oil changes, or has never changed the transmission fluid, etc. I would probably avoid it. these cars are very reliable despite what people say about hyundai, but when a car has over 300,000 miles its increasingly important that it has been taken care of as far as maintenance is concerned
My Ma had a 99 Escort and sold it with 80k miles a few years back. Wish she had kept it but it was starting to rust... it was an auto too unfortunately.
tiny engine? come on, is compare with Toyota corolla same year. I will never trade my 2008 for any new Toyota even for free. I will refuse to trade it even for free. New car is pure computer garbage.
I like to watch whatever you like to record! Good variety!
I love your content and what you do but I enjoy the rebuilding RV you did a great job
Fantastic review. Thank you!

What did you do with the white car ?
