One Piece powerscaling is underrated. Lucci is clearly leagues stronger than before but he's not touching G5 Luffy who just took down Kaido.

Just goes to show you how much he leveled up since the Timeskip. It’s safe to say that he’s on the level of 1st commanders like Katakuri, Marco, and King, possibly stronger than all 3.

Kaido already mentioned it in Onigashima, the transformations are exclusive to Zoan types. And so far in the show only 2 types of devil fruits have seen their awakened version:
-Paramecia (they affect everything outside the user with their powers)
-Zoan (a new transformation that alters the personality since Zoan-type fruits have a will of their own)
At the moment it remains to be seen what an awakened Logia-type fruit will be like.
People want to downplay Lucci so bad, but the fact he survives fighting a Yonko puts him on a better standing than like 95% of the characters in the entire show.

Lucci is slim in this fight most likely because he’s using the Life Return technique which allows the user to have full control of their body parts. For example, during Enies Lobby, Kumadori used it to control his hair to attack while Lucci used it to have a slimmer body that makes him quicker.

Lucci was just the opening act.
When it said “most of the time awakened users lose their personality,” it was referring to characters like the impel down jailers. It was stated that they were awakened, but obviously they weren’t strong enough to control it. Characters like yamato, luffy, and lucci are able to take full control and still function normally
You can see the excitement and the buildup in these guys and this is why we watch OP! Among many other reasons!
Vegafunk didnt hear luffy's drums of liberation, shaka saw luffy's appearance and knew who he was and because all the vegapunks are linked the main one got that information too right away

As y'all already know, Mythical type also have a second power besides its main power, for examples:
- Marco: not only can be a Phoenix bird but also have a untouched body like logia type
- Kaido: can transform into a dragon, and have ability to create a fireball and create a storm
- and Luffy: have a imagination power, can do whatever he wants to, but still have a rubber body just like paramecia
Common zoan power is only a transformation, while ancient zoan have the same condition like common but way much stronger than common,,
And you know what that's mean, right?

That’s why he rushed over to where Shaka and the Straw Hats were viewing the fight.
No matter the outcome of this fight which I already know, it’s a fact that Lucci is a badass 🔥🔥🔥👌 and an interesting character I want to see more and more.
