But once established they will overtake the weeds and hold their own, and hopefully then the garden becomes low maintenance. And as the plants self-propagate, this will provide your groundcover. Formal gardening does use this formula and requires more weeding. Unfortunately you still will have to divide thingsleast they become overgrown.
