WOW! I just came across this one. As a Santa Claus ambassador myself, this immediately brought tears to my eyes. I have had a few "tough requests" from children but so far, none like this. While I haven't had the privilege of visiting children in this situation, I have visited the children in the NICU at one of the hospitals in Chattanooga, TN and MAN, it really pulls on the heart strings to know that I am the only Santa some of these babies will ever see. Brandon, you made a fantastic tribute to the family and the child with this song. Keep being real and singing from your heart. You are going to take Nashville by storm. Helped a lady change her tire from a blow out thankfully I had the right size in my shop she just lost her husband of old age and son in war this year and was trying to get 2 states over to see her new grandson. I couldnt bring myself to do anything else but give her the tire and take no form of payment. Just told her be safe and sent her on

I just want to say thank you Brandon Davis my daughter is 30 and pregnant with a boy and she has stage two ovarian cancer and it’s not looking good and she has two other kids a 7 year old little gir girl and a 5 year old boy she walked out 5 years ago she became chemically imbalanced and that little girl has went threw hell and this year that little girl came to me and said nana I got one Christmas wish this year and that was to have a family Christmas with matching jammies and for one night for everyone to be happy she doesn’t no about her mom having cancer so I can’t say thank u ur songs really touch me thank u so much. My oldest daughter used to write to Santa and ask him to cure my moms cancer every year. Then on April 11th 2021 my mom lost her cancer battle after 5 long years of fighting. This will be the first Christmas Eve without her. And it’s definitely been a struggle. Hearing this shows me we’re not alone in this battle we face. It’s a beautiful song so glad I got the chance to hear it. Praying for everyone going through something similar

Great song brought back memories and tears to an old man's eyes! I was in a children's hospital when I was younger for an illness (wasn't cancer). I made a friend named Eric Waggoner who was suffering from leukemia. We helped each other through those tough days in in the hospital. It made it a little easier for both of us to have a friend. We didn't live close but when he had checkups his mom and him would stop and visit. Leukemia took his life but I'll never forget his smiling face!
