I don't think he is not more famous because of anything other than fate. There have been many other famous overweight and not that good looking singers. It is all in one's destiny.

I found a Jordan video from The voice and immediately loved him, then I saw his entire performances there, and then I came here. In 2 hours he's become one of my favorite artist and I'm really happy that he could start his carrer.
