Its called tropical red soil it is caused by the hige amount of plant material avalible in a rainforest it forms a lot of soil which leads to deep soil. When people clear the rain forest for farming plant material isnt avalible so the rain washes away the neuitrients so the soil becomes infertile and soil erosion is also a big problem
For the soil type you've got there, yellow or red soil indicates the presence of oxidized ferric iron oxides. Dark brown or black colour in soil indicates that the soil has a high organic matter content. We have red soil like this near Exeter in the UK, the beginning of the M5 there cuts right through some red cliffs and you can see it quite clearly.

Wow,, Sugarcane in SOUTH AFRICA is a much much different process .. we plant in hills/ rolling hills and mostly everything is done by hand ,, to harvest Cane, It is first burned in controlled manner that does stuff and makes it easier to cut by hand by a team of workers

In fs19, id really like it if tractor hours went through with the time of day, so say if the time is at 120x, the tractor gets more hours. Might make people pay more realistic as well as it would decrease tractor resale values
"I have never seen a combine so old" Dagger, those Bizon combines are standard for Poland and they aren't that old... Last summer I saw a class combine of some sort from around 1950, and of course it was still working in the field. + I drove one of those bizons once. (Yes it has a manual gearbox with 3 gears + reverse) those levers from the left of the steering wheel are for header adjustments if I remember correctly)

i believe yes since all the machinery you will need to plant/harvest the sugarcane is in the platinum edition pack, so if you dont have them you cant plant/harvest the crop because you lack the machinery.
We have one tractor tha we use for shredding driveways and pastures and for hauling hay and digging drainage ditches in the fields. It has almost 15,000 hours on it
I think there are some pallets with sugarcane next to the sugarcane harvester, well it's not the 14th for me yet, but I did saw some pallets in your map tour video, and I think they are sugarcane.
Regarding where this farm could possibly be. According to the I.D. letters on the light aircraft it suggests that this farm is in Paraguay, South America! But, there seems to be a deep water harbour that suggests coastal. Strangely, Paraguay is land locked! But it could be a river I guess.
Clay is not good for growing anything, doesn't drain moisture at all, whereas sand is the opposite, drains moisture way too fast. I have a mix of black dirt and pit run and my soil grows phenomenally well.
From what it looks like to me you won't have to replant the sugar cane, the part you planted so far is in the "harvested" state, so I'm assuming it will regrow everytime after harvesting

well it´s red because of iron in the ground and the fertile soil is only a very thin layer

Frithgar In Northern Ireland near the Giants Causeway there is a lot of red soil.

Usually the 2 peddles closest together on the older vehicles are the brakes, left pedal for left side brakes, right for right dagger

tractor hours only increase if the vehicle is actually being used. if it's just parked up it dosnt increase the hours. .

Maps need to be prepared in advance for seasons and since this is an official map I doubt it is season compatible

Been playing this map with seasons and trying to do mostly sugarcane. Is a real tough start but great fun with a couple friends

It might be a clutch and two brake pedals, a brake for each of the large front tires. 1 brake might be used individually to turn sharp corners

Probably best to do the 1 stage fertilising for this series to start off and as you progress more you could move onto 3 stage fertilising
The combine has split brakes. The left pedal is the clutch and the right pedals are the brakes.

The orange ground is because of high clay deposits in the soil. It’s actually really good for crops
