Thanks for the detailed vid. I was issued the IV last week with only brief instructions. Nothing about the modes, reset button, how the charger works, or even the pager coverage area. Mostly learned from internet searches and videos. Thanks
When I got my pager, I got it straight out of the box so it came with a backup battery. I always keep a battery on the charger and just swap it out when the low battery alert goes off. And for overnight, I keep it right by my bedside. Pager lasts for about 3 days on a full charge.
+Mike Hamilton It resets the pager back to "closed" after an alert. Also, press it to see battery life indicated by the 3 green led's. 3 is full battery, 2 or 1 when low.
I am a junior firefighter at my local department. Whenever I hear the fateful sound from my pager my heart skips a beat.

I usually switch it out during the day, when the low alarm goes off. I never have to have it sitting in the charger.

I have this same pager. Takes less then an hour to fuller charge and lasts 4-6 days
Why does mine sometimes go off in night and sometimes does not when I get a call? But during the day it always works
As a junior volunteer firefighter sometimes ill be sleeping at night and when the pager goes off i jump out of bed lol
How else are you supposed to get moving without getting out of bed 🤔

You have to be part of a department to hear their traffic and so you chief or battalion Chief would help you set it up

You find out what channel your area uses and buy radio chrystals for that frequency and take minitor apart and add chrystals and your good to go.
Minitor iv pager take 2 AAA batteries or what? And dose it have to be rechargeable battery?
They do come with rechargeable ones from the factory but you can also use regular AAAs.
