It's hard to improve on this masterpiece from Hans Zimmer, but slowing it down 300% smoothed out the edges and really lets you hear the individual pieces.

It's about perception of time extremely slowed down to the point when seconds last years O_O
This is the epitome of what inception truly is: the slowed music implying a deeper level of dream state. Only begs the question...if this is the song played for the ending scene, is the ending now a dream or is it reality?
The whole movie is a dream! I highly recommend you to read ''Inception and Philosophy"' book if you really like the movie Inception

Vini Grae I had the idea originally to start with the original then slowly transition to the stretch but that just got copyright strikes. Maybe I'll find a different way to do it.

RiotPKs technically. It does say who the song is licensed to in the description, which means that the record label who own it have noticed their song, so the song is still copyrighted.

I’m a big fan of inception I watched the movie countless times .. but I’ll tell you one thing very few people understand this movie fully including myself!! It has so much underneath meaning that has so many twists and how you make it out is debated by different thoughts.. but I loved what I saw 🌹🌹❤️

What software did you use for this? I use Audacity, and it always makes stuff sound grainy if I try to slow it down.
Hi, I don't use Audacity to slow it down, only to make smaller edits to the song. I slow it down using Paul's Extreme Stretch, or Paulstretch. Audacity does have a plugin for this, but I really haven't used it.

Audacity 2.1.1 has the Paulstretch plugin.
