It is "created" out of thin air by banks when someone takes up a loan primarily, in the bank. It does not belong to anybody.. It is just a way for banks to earn interest from loaning out "money" that they dont have, because they dont exist anywhere. The correct term used in the financial world is "Gearing" and often times banks are geared hundreds of times. They do not have the money in bank vault, they do not go to the vault and take the money out for you when you take a loan, they do not own anything other than papers which are "I owe you´s" on deposits and withdrawels, and then they skim the top and call it interest.

The password can also be used on the domain controller? That seems like really really bad security for a bank. In the companies I got to know the accounts of the field service (client) technicians usually do not have any privileges on the domain controller.
I think with the extra privileges allowed by the admin password they were able to use other attacks to penetrate the domain controller. My question is why they bothered sending a person out to fix the person's computer instead of remotely wiping it with a fresh install.

Why do Companies keep back doors undocumented?!! You, the user community, need some very good test teams to keep them honest about their products and services.
nobody used an undocumented backdoor, it was just a vulnerability (a mistake) in Word that had been patched but the bank didn't keep up to date with patches.
