The forced kissing thing in Korean dramas was a thing of the past, I don't think it happens in new dramas from 2016, I guess the trend changed
Kdramas have improved though! Like post 2015-2016 some good stuff is coming up. Also they have better stories as well. Hella toxic is Thai dramas and Thai Bls like GOSHHHH! There are such few Bls that are not toxic.
