While everyone is talking about the build, I'd like to say that your camera work is excellent. That angle makes the death mountain part look like it's really steep.
How do you even muster the will-power for that?? Imagine if DQ Builders has some sort of "mario maker" devices to make your own a link to the past remake... Would you be up for it? Your videos allways make me smile. Thanks for uploading!
Just keep going and going, sometimes I also need a break for weeks or months but then I return and try to finish it finally, because I know it will be worth it in the end! :) I would be totally up for it. I believe Nintendo is also thinking about making some kind of Zelda Maker right now, so who knows :) And thank you very much, you're very welcome!
That was just insane mate......awesome job, my wife and I couldn’t stop smiling, laughing or saying WOW as we watch.....keep up the awesome work and I hope you get the recognition you deserve for this and congrats on the kotaku article 😀😀👍👍
You my man... you are amazing, attention to detail is flawless. You did not make my day, but you made my month/year with this. Keep up the amazing work that you do!!! I absolutely love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well done Ben! Actually I had to come back and edit this the more I watch "Well done" seems to be an understatement. This is amazing, so detailed orientated, and I think safe to assume you have an extraordinary amount of patience. Bravo
This is one of the most impressive videos I have ever seen. I cannot IMAGINE how difficult it would be to coordinate these two videos. And are ALL the houses furnished? I have a feeling they are, I think there is SO MUCH more to this build than meets the eye here... I'm gonna go find it...
Thank you very much! 😊 yeah it took quite a bit of planning. I drew a route for me to walk and afterwards I adjusted the speed of both videos so they were kind of in sync :) I actually have a video where I show the interiors I did after I recorded this video "DQB2 Hyrule final build". I think I have all houses fully furnished now :D (I left out dungeons and caves, I don't think they will fit).
@@BenXC I have been showing this to everyone I know who played Link to the Past and it's MIND BLOWING. Its like they get transported to thier youth. The nostalgia is overwhelming.
Dear lord. I subscribed after your "how to make a simple house" video to help me and here we are with you remaking an entire game. You are truly a master of DQB holy shit.
You deserve all the praise possible for this amazing recreation! My only negative here (just with this comparison video, not the world you built) is the unsatisfying loop for the Kakariko Village music. I kept waiting for the second half of the song and it never came. :(
I've been watching all your DQB2 videos. And wow! I'm in love with what you've created here. That's beyond epic. I can't wait to get the game for christmas. Greetings from Mexico!
Your attention to detail is amazing. Wow. The perspective you have on death mountain was awesome. I love how you added subtle changes in grade to the ground to give the game world some dimension.
Ben, man you rock and your dedication and vision is explemary ...hats off...Zelda the link awakning was multi million dollor effort with hundreds of developers and you almost pullled TLTP on your own using dragon quest material...I am speechless!! Take a bow!!
You nailed it so hard. I was watching this video yesterday, cuz of boring random clicks. But you allready got me in the first minutes - Damn man, thats a masterpiece. You really got every freakin Detail i can imagine. I was talkin with a friend and he was like "dude wtf is wrong with you" but after i send him that video, he was stunned like me. Great Work man, Great Work !
Impressive! You mastered this game! I love DQ Builders 2 but I don't think I have that kind of patience to recreate such a detailed world. I was already super proud when I made a train station with a clock tower on my island which is nothing compared to your work :)
So cool! I’m so sad. My game got corrupted when I was traveling to another island and now I have to start over completely 😢 I was done with the story and everything.
Looks amazing. Your work is always super impressive but this is insane.... Also its been getting lots of attention on random articles that keep popping up in my news feed =D. Well deserved!
When I watched the teaser trailer i was bit confused cause in a lot of shots i could see the edge of the world but actually watching the gameplay, it makes so much more sense now that every single section is loaded in as you enter it. I also find it impressive that its basically matched up with link to the past and its different sections as well
Your work is truly amazing, I've been watching for along time now and you find away to blow my mind in every single video, your a amazing person and a building legend thank u for all your hard work, And cant wait for what's next
All hail the legendary builder Ben! Who’s hard work and dedication never fails. SERIOUSLY DUDE THIS NEEDS MORE ATTENTION!! You truly worthy of the title of legendary builder!
I've been watching your videos for a while. Now I will need to get dragon quest builders 2.. I need to see this in rl... This is AMAZING. Keep up the good work. And what you are doing its legendary
This is amazing. I don't know what compelled you to do this, but you did well to reproduce this all. One thing though, I would have loved to have heard some commentary about some of the choices you made. Honestly, anything but the LttP overworld theme would have been better. Not that I don't like that song, it's just a little repetitive to listen to for half an hour.
Okay wow I've seen your username pop up during the DQB2 load screen, this is the first video I've ever seen of yours so now the dots are connected! Great effort, I'm surprised you didn't pick Links Awakening though, considering it's the trending top view Zelda atm
Well I started it before LInks Awakening was announced, and I think this video won't be as interesting if you already have a carefully crafted 3D world of this game just released ^^ and thank you :)
This is really cool! It looks really good and I can see how much thought and effort went into it. I'm working on a Zelda world too, trying to recreate Koholint Island and hoo boy it's a lot of work but it's so cool when you see it start to come together and be recognizable.
Awesome, man! Just Awesome! A link to the Past is like my second or third favorite Zelda. Ocarina is first and Awakening is nearly tied to Link to the past.
Just wao ! Super amazed about all the work you've been done to recreate so perfectly the underworld. O thought I was a true fan of TLOZ... I find a master !
It would be cool if you could disable jumping in DQB2. And also if there would be a way to make the items impervious to damage. Then you would be set. Would just need the monsters. Kompliment!!!
Oh Gott das is ja Wahnsinn!
I don't think the DQB2 creators are even aware of how much creative capacity their game gives their players...If any developer wants someone to properly showcase their games creative survival potential...Ben is your man! hands and controllers down.
Your attention to detail is LEGENDARY I had to pick my jaw off the floor after having seen what you have accomplished well done!
Thank you very much! :D
You should chek a doctor, there is no reason why your jaw should drop like that, it is not normal
mate i had to go to the underworld cause my jaw dropped straight down and satan picked it up so i had to trade my soul back for my jaw
While everyone is talking about the build, I'd like to say that your camera work is excellent. That angle makes the death mountain part look like it's really steep.

I am so proud of you!!! You made an amazing world!!!! I am speechless😱 You really are an epic builder❤️💕🥳
Not just epic. LEGENDARY.
Awww thank you all so much, that makes me really happy =)
So much sadness. Happiness, and nolstgia! I think I’m going to cry.....wait I already am!!
Noo don't cry :D

Dude, I went exploring this island for like 3 hours, your work here is truly admirable
That transition around 17:20 - 17:35 LOL love it

I was excited and even cried with this ... it goes seriously
Hy Benxc ! I am a french builders and i have look all of your videos. You are incredible. You are the best and thanks for all tips.
C'est un monstre
@@KaayZeRx Hahaha :D
You're very welcome Dabat :)
Very clever use of layering in this map. It really feels like an old-school zelda experience!
The sync is so good! This was the best thing i've seen so far!
Well done Ben! Actually I had to come back and edit this the more I watch "Well done" seems to be an understatement. This is amazing, so detailed orientated, and I think safe to assume you have an extraordinary amount of patience. Bravo
Wahnsinn. Das ist nicht nur unendlich viel Arbeit, sondern zeugt von absoluter Detailliebe und Hingabe zu Zelda. Meine Hochachtung!

Amazing job
wow this is amazing, even the grass and single flower placement is the same. great work
I can't believe how much I loved this video. Link to the Past has always been one of my all time favorite games!
Thank you very much, mine too :)
Dear lord. I subscribed after your "how to make a simple house" video to help me and here we are with you remaking an entire game. You are truly a master of DQB holy shit.
Wonderfully crafted. BenXC, you deserve to be part of the next Dragon quest builders DLC AND Dragon quest builders 3!!!!!!!!!!!
You deserve all the praise possible for this amazing recreation!
My only negative here (just with this comparison video, not the world you built) is the unsatisfying loop for the Kakariko Village music. I kept waiting for the second half of the song and it never came. :(
Thank you very much! :) Oh noo I just used the song of the soundtrack I found somewhere. Seems like the second half wasn't in there. 🙈
This is freaking amazing, I genuinely forgot which was which while watching it. Very well done 🏅🏅
Awesome job as always Ben! Why you only have 16k subs is beyond me. Let's get you to 1 million!

Although every single thing about this video is awesome, King Zora might be my favorite.
You are an amazingly talented individual, BenXC.
"MILK" lol.
Also whenever i'm reading I just imaging hearing your voice acting version!!! 😂
You did a great job Ben, Cheers.

Ouch I'm sorry. That's what I also mentioned in my "13 things I hate about DQB2" video :\
That was extremely impressive! Great job on it! :)
The effort and goes into this and the attention to detail leaves me speechless 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 do make sure to get some well deserved rest 😁
Yeah I'm taking some time of to relax a bit right now. But very soon "I'll be back" (in german accent) :D
Great work! You should do Link’s Awakening next!
I'm going to recreate Lynna City from Oracle of Ages when I get my copy of Dragon Quest Builders 2.

3:20 how can you make that standing still guy?
And 27:02 how to set that guard npc?
I think after you beat the game, you can unlock the "Salutation Station" in the Decorations section of the Builder's workbench.
@@lukasbarenio8700 thanks for the info. Does it require DLC or not? I already beat the game. Will look it up when i got home later.
