      False.
The most crucial problem with the Roman Catholic Church is its belief that faith alone in Christ is not sufficient for salvation. The Bible clearly and consistently states that receiving Jesus Christ as Savior, by grace through faith, grants salvation (John 1:12; 3:16,18,36; Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9-10,13; Ephesians 2:8-9). The Roman Catholic Church rejects this. The official position of the Roman Catholic Church is that a person must believe in Jesus Christ AND be baptized AND receive the Eucharist along with the other sacraments AND obey the decrees of the Roman Catholic Church AND perform meritorious works AND not die with any mortal sins AND etc., etc., etc. Catholic divergence from the Bible on this most crucial of issues, salvation, means that yes, Catholicism is a false religion. If a person believes what the Catholic Church officially teaches, he/she will not be saved. Any claim that works or rituals must be added to faith in order for salvation to be achieved is a claim that Jesus’ death was not sufficient to fully purchase our salvation.

The thief on the cross had a direct word from Jesus in the flesh. Do you have a direct word to you of being with Him? You will find that in baptism and in the Lord's Supper. And it certainly needn't be in a Roman Catholic church. But if the church you're attending rejects the true presence of Jesus' Body and Blood in the Lord's Supper and/or rejects the efficacy of baptism then find a Christian church.

That’s good but there’s other sacraments that the Catholic Church practices besides communion you can only find in the faith . the sacrament of marriage according to scripture, intercession of saints , the creed and declaration which you have to confess with your mouth . There’s so much more history on the church fathers and what the early Christians believe because to know history is to be Catholic! Also the word Catholic just means universal church so don’t confuse that with Roman or eastern . At the last supper Jesus appointed Peter as the pope and formed a universal church. I know you probably have some resentment with the word pope but it just means the head of the church.

If you are old enough and you have the wish to follow Jesus, you do the baptism. If you have sinned, you can go to the pastor and confess your sins. The pastor has a duty of confidentiality. When you are sick you can have anointments and prayers for you. If you are called to a ministry, you will also be consecrated.
What i want to say is that in our church we have the same sacraments like the Catholic church wich are biblical because it's stand in the Bible. we don't baptism for example's children because they can't for their self take the choice to follow Jesus. The verse in Machabees about "it is a good and holy thing to pray for the dead so that they are loosed from their sins" that was dropped from the Protestant Bibles is among the Dead Sea Scrolls. The Jewish community of Jesus's time knew and honored this teaching. It has always been taught. After the Resurection in John 20:23, Jesus appears to the apostles and gives them the ability to forgive sins - after Baptism! They all abandoned Him, except John. This reminds me of overwhelming sensation of fulfillment when I went back to the LDS church at 28, I even became a Sunday school teacher there for a time. In doing so I learned the bad history and contradictions of that church then left shortly after. With experience we learn we put overzealous faith in institutions as our sole ability to connect with Christ, as if we are unable to do so ourselves, and hearing others talk about how we simply lack the willpower to follow institutions so we are taking the “easy route”. The human mind can trick itself into feeling things that it identifies as divine inspiration and feelings as if it’s connecting with Gods spirit, and institutions capitalize on that. So many fall into a tribal mentality and believes “their” church is the right one for a myriad of reasons. Most acknowledge that others can fall into false pretenses and beliefs, but they think that only happens to others but it won’t happen to them. The way to God is between the individual and Christ, not the rock of the institution.

There was a reason why Martin Luther left the Catholic church and put up his 95 theses.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast" There is nothing a person can do to be saved, but once you have confessed that Jesus is Lord and have been born again, the Holy Spirit comes into you. Communion, Jesus told His disciples and us too, to do in rememberance of Him, it is a thing we do to remember the shed blood and broken body of Christ, his death and resurrection that has saved us from the penalty of our sins which is death. Taking Communion does not save you, that would be a work. It is in rememberance of what Jesus did on the cross once for all.

    • @Spiritof76Catholic

You gave us Eph5:8-9 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God- 9 not because of works, lest any man should boast which is verse shopping. Now let’s add verse 10 which completes the thought, 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Nobody is boasting. Sounds like we are created in Christ Jesus for good works. BTW: Read your Bible carefully Jesus never gave Luther, Zwingli, Calvin or any of their successors the authority to interpret Scriputure or you and I for that matter. Interpreting Sacred Scripture is reserved for the Episcopate of the Catholic Church.

They did not teach the born again scriptures. They could not answer my question, how can one know for sure you can be saved? I asked several people including a church father and they could not answer it.

It's not good to move the sheep from the church they grew up in to another church, cause all your doing is moving around not being able to learn the lessons God wants for you, and if you want to go to different churches GO to different churches, BUT Do Not stop going to the main church that you were going to, it is very important to you and especially to God
