Hello! I would really appreciate if you mention the pricing also when you create a resource in azure or do any connection from azure devops to azure portal. I know that I can check in azure price calculator but hearing from you make me understand better. Thanks :)
Thank you so much Sir for all the awesome content and putting all the efforts. Really appreciate your dedication and effort. I wish you all the success and and many more subs ahead. Also if time allows could please make a series on Azure Devops Interview.
Thank you so much for the fantastic words, it means a lot! Yes, I am working on a video dedicated to Azure DevOps interview questions and answers. It should be published soon.
Hope you are doing good. Let me introduce myself, I have 10 years of experience in IT in some other technology and last one year I have moved to Cloud OPS Team. I wanted to move to entire DevOps role. As of now now I have learned the below. AZ-900 AZ-104 Terraform Associate Certification Good understanding of docker Good knowledge of Linux, Git and GitHub Basic knowledge of K8S. Needs to complete Ansible CKA certification AZ-400 Python Scripting However I'm struggling to learn Azure Pipeline and Jenkins Pipeline. Can you please suggest me how should I learn the below and I'm good to give interview ? Thank you so much
Thank you for reaching out and sharing the details. Here's my recommendation: - Go with CKA certification - Python - Logging, Monitoring and Alerting using Prometheus , Grafana etc - Go with Azure DevOps as it uses YAML based syntax which is what most of the modern CICD pipeline tools are using such as Github Action, Bitbucket pipeline, ArgoCD, circle CI etc so it will be easier for you to learn and work on other CICD tool later in your career. Keep Jenkins aside for now. - Helm and ArgoCD for GitOps in Kubernetes - Build some good hands on projects on the topics that you have covered already, maintain your projects on Github and blogging website(optional) Let me know if you have more questions.
Hello Gaurav. Would like to understand more about your experience. You said telco experience so, you worked with telecom products? OBRM, Siebel, SingleView, Amdocs billing etc? or anything else. If that is the case, I had the same experience of 4 years before I moved into DevOps. Let me know. You can also join our discord community, it will be easier to exchange messages there.
@@GauravSingh-e9g9k Looks like you have a good understanding of Linux and Networking fundamentals. I would suggest going with docker, basics of Kubernetes and then pick a Cloud either AWS or Azure or GCP. Do an associate level cloud cert and build some realtime projects. Dont directly jump into DevOps Transition your way into Cloud roles and then DevOps.
Exam is not difficult make sure you do hands-on of every topic listed in exam guide. You can refer any youtube video such as freecodecamp by Andrew Brown, that should be sufficient
