It's kinda weird that they aired a Cambell's Christmas commercial in MARCH/APRIL 1997! Also who knew that this & the M&M's Santa commercials from 1996 would still air today?
The software featured in this video was known as PC Prevue, seemed to be common internationally and here on Primestar. This software also ran on Windows and not the Amiga.
I had like 2 childhoods...We couldn't get Cable out where I lived. So I experienced Saturday Morning cartooms I.e Saturday being the only time I got to see cartoons because we only had regular TV until early 95 when Primestar came out, and then I got to witness cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. My teacher in High school in 04 told us we were essentially the last of the Saturday morning cartoon generation because kids nowadays can watch them whenever.
If I read somewhere correctly, Primestar used a customized version of the Prevue Channel software for Windows NT, as opposed to using the conventional Amiga platform.
There was the EPG Jr. software for the Atari 8-bit, EPG Sr., Prevue Guide, and the Prevue Channel on the Amiga. There was also this weird version, used on Primestar satellite.
Reminded of the one or two times I saw what Prevue Channel looked like from one of these satellite services and noticed how they were using what appeared to be a different system from the one I normally saw used on cable at home (like some sort of upgrade that didn't came to us).
I remember this one , too! Thanks!

I've always wondered what that little flashing dot to the right of the screen to the right side of 12:30AM was for. Anyone know?

The two pieces of music that play from 0:46 to 1:08 are "Riverside Drive" and "Take It Home" from the Killer Tracks library.
My former school, Moore High School, was always "stuck in the '90s" with it's cell phone ban policies and me drawing _Jodie_ pictures

Only cable companies run tv guide not satellite companies
As you can see Primestar ran Prevue Guide. Nobody said that it's only for cable.
@Mike MacDonald: You'd be wrong. They also had Prevue Guide for C-Band satellite dishes.
