you are playing in normal mode so when you recover you get free full fuel and full repair, but if you are carrying cargo or anything you will drop it. the garage is the default recovery spot.
in hard mode recovery costs a lot of money and it does not repair or refuel for free for that we have to use the fuel station which also costs money or find fuel trailers and service trailers around the map.
the more engine damage you have the more fuel it will consume,
if fuel tank has less than half of its health it will leak fuel and the fuel numbers will show in red.
your tires can get punctured before it getting fully damaged or it can break off when fully damaged,
gearbox damage will put your truck in neutral every time it experiences a heavy work load and will not shift if it has been damaged a lot, and
suspension will basically stop cushioning all the bumps below half health and when fully low you will not have any suspension only loose movement.
you can right click on map and set custom gps marker, you can put as many marks as you want, middle click will remove the end of route. right click will also allow you to rotate the map.
you can refuel from other vehicles and trailers fuel tank.
low gears are useful only if you enter deep mud while its on not when you have already dug a hole with your wheels, try reversing and wiggle to move the mud away so tires find traction.
water level will start damaging your engine instantly if your engine gets submerged, to avoid this purchase snorkels from the garage customization, if you somehow manage to get your snorkel submerged as well then good luck getting out of water before the engine dies.
cranes are useful if you find yourself tipping over a lot, you can load the cargo that you dropped with it. sometimes it also helps shifting the weight on the truck on angled paths.
cranes are ultra useful in hard mode because it costs money to auto load the cargo in truck.
you can use your map to change your vehicles.
you will figure it more game mechanics out as you play.
