This looks like a great solution to be used as a POS (Point Of Sale) input device. Larger is better for older eyes.

Bought this and returned it immediately after seeing how aweful the touch works.
The touchscreen sucks on these,‘it’s aweful. Anybody who says it isn’t is a liar. Don’t buy if you want an “iPad” experience with a monitor. You will be severely disappointed.
Had to press so hard to get stylus to work. Imagine drawing while constantly putting 5 pounds of pressure on the screen. Wasn’t seeing any reaction from varying pressure on the brush size… placement felt OK. Light touches that would be the normal drawing pressure on the iPad did nothing on this screen.
Setting up touch is SOO painful for the programs. You have to spent 1-2 hours per program and it’s missing features that make workflow weird. I set up controls and still it didn’t work…
We’re so used to iPads setting the standard for touch that this feels like going back to way before to a time when no standards existed and you were amazed that pushing your finger onto a screen did anything.
The marketing of this product SEVERELY EMBELLISHES the true effectiveness/quality of the touch component.
Think of this as a good screen, with a crappy, experimental “ touch” test-phase beta experience that does 34% of what you want it to do.

What about pressure sensors. Does it recognize it when I put pressure on the surface with a pen? What type of pen technology does it support?

It would be nice to have this as an add on monitor, like Asus ProArt 14” and not as the main.

Did you actually test those USB-A jacks? I’d be willing to bet if there is a USB-B jack, no signal gets to those USB-A jacks unless you also connect a cable from the computer to the USB-B jack.

I wonder if you can do two touch screens? Obviously you can't touch both of them at the same time because the touch likely works like mouse input but being able to use either one with touch would be cool.

Viewsonic also make a range of touch screen monitors including portable monitors that work with Mac OS via a single USB-C cable. I am not sure how well they compare with Alogic Clarity Pro monitor. I was impressed with Alogic's range of adjustability and screen brightness.

maybe useful for some people like artists. But for me and other people who uses monitor mostly for reading, the no.1 need from a monitor is clear text, which means anti-glare surface, brightness, contrast and stuff. I don't think this monitor can beat many existing big names. And one super IMPORTANT fact is, finger moves faster than arm. Operating touch screen is more exhausting than using mouse. So a NO for me.

The demonstration of touch in the first 15 seconds fails twice 😒. When you’re trying to work fast, that sort of things can really kill your mood.

That's because MacOS is not designed for the touch experience (why they came up with iOS). The two applications I can think of where it would still be useful are art/drawing apps with a stylus, and manipulating complex software synthesizers in a DAW. Doing sliders and knobs with touch is easier than mouse.

Has anyone tried using the pen you can buy with the Clarity Pro Touch when connected to a MacBook? I can get my pen to move the mouse, but it doesn't trigger the pen-touch or click buttons on it. Not sure which driver to install.

I've been using my iPad 12.9" as a second display to my MacBook Pro, and it works incredibly well. And it connects either wirelessly or thru wire, though I use it as wireless all the time, so there's one less connection to worry about, specially when I'm outside like at a cafe, or anywhere, super easy to use, and I can use my mouse and keyboard across both devices no problem. You can use the touch capabilities of the iPad, but I never really use it that way when it's linked to the MacBook Pro, I use it pretty much as a second monitor. I've found it easier and more pleasant to use than those portable monitors, where brightness or colors are really not that good. I bought the 12.9" 4th generation iPad on eBay, including the Apple pencil for just over $400 bucks anout a month ago and it's been awesome. Couldn't be happier ... Just thought I would give you that insight in case you find it useful. Cheers!

Thanks for continuing to give the Alogic Clarity Monitors attention! Not many video reviews of the Alogic Clarity out there.
When it comes to specs - it sounds like there is no difference with the Alogic Clarity Pro & Alogic Clarity Pro Touch (2023) vs the Alogic Clarity (2022). That's not a bad thing, but IMO unless you desperately need a built-in, pop-up webcam or touch input control, than the the Alogic Clarity from last year is a better buy. Same exact Monitor but cheaper!
