This song was indeed played in clubs…clubs where we ‘old folks’ were in our 20s … but NOBODY was sitting down drinking anything! We were on the floor, dancing our asses OFF under the disco ball lights. 😂😂😂😂
I had two new knees fitted because of the Bee Gee's, I wore them out dancing to the thier music at the disco's in the 1970 and 1980 we had great fun l wouldn't change it for the world, I'm pleased I lived through these times, I'm not just saying this but life was more fun back then, good reaction to a great disco song. 🇬🇧
I don't think you will ever find three young men who could sing and write their own music as good as the Bee Gees did. The stars were aligned when these brothers were born. They came to entertain and that's exactly what they did.
I miss the Brothers Gibb. There will never be another group like them. Not sure what you have done yet, I'm on my phone on the treadmill. But Fanny Be Tender is great. You Win Again. Oh, there are so many great songs.
You have to listen to "To love somebody" They wrote it for Otis Redding, but he passed before the was able to record it, so the BeeGees recorded it themselves. circa 1967?
I’m so far down the Bee Gees rabbit hole it’s like another dimension no other artist could ever reach. They are the only artists who have their own individual playlist on my music. Every song is 🔥🔥🔥
I'm so glad you have discovered the Bee Gees.....have fun going down this rabbit hole called the Bee Gees....they have over 2000 songs in their song catalog.....they wrote and sang all of their own music....they only covered "Will you still love me tomorrow" as tribute to Carol King....The Bee Gees are the GREATEST group to EVER grace the music world. I would love to here you react to "Words" the best one is live from the "Spirits Having Flown tour "Jumbo" "Close Another Door" "Living Eyes" "E.S.P "You Win Again" "Spirits Having Flown" "Wind of Change" "She Keeps On Coming Back" "Morning of My Life" "Walking on Air" "Closer Than Close" "Shine Shine " "One Night For Lovers" "Stay Alone" "Fine Line" "Hold Her in Your Hand" "Juliet" There's actually way too many to list but here's a few.
Disco got panned a lot, mostly by jealous R&R industry, they got a little threatened by the new popularity of Disco. However, Disco was a heartbeat, a hypnotic and mesmerizing call to get everyone on their feet and feeling new emotions! B G's will live forever for their contribution.
For those who know disco dancing...😆...I won a trophy for "The Bump" dancing to this song. And, I had Andy Gibb's name engraved on the trophy plate...because I was so in love with him. My first "virtual" love...helped me with my horrible life. Unfortunately, I no longer have that trophy. Grew up, and got rid of that and SOOO many albums of both Andy Gibb and the Bee Gees. I could kick myself in the ass!!!
There is a lot of good songs from other singers but written by te bee gees like : if i can't have you by yvonne elliman, heartbreaker by dionne Warwick, grease by Frankie Valli, chain reaction by Diana ross, woman in love. Guilty... All the album written for Barbara Streisand... And so much more
When this was popular we weren’t old lol…I was in my early 20’s. The discos were so much fun! The BeeGees had the best music to dance to. Great memories ☺️
Personally I love Barry more .He is so gorgeous , talented family musician.... However the twins brothers were also so so great that I love them all ..🎉❤😊
If you haven’t listen to their ballad “Fanny be tender with my love,” don’t miss it. Quincy Jones loved it! Also, if you haven’t seen the film Saturday Night Fever with John Travolta, don’t miss it. Several of the Bee Gees songs are featured in the film, including this one in a great dance scene. So much fun watching you enjoy!
Two months in 1978 - #1 US Billboard Spot and in 36 other countries !! as well - with this tune the Brothers Gibb sets the world on fire the No.1 everywhere ! - with this is playing in the club today - the dance floors are packed full - unbelievable and legendary tune so great to see you reaction 👍🕺
Without their drummer, engineers for the Bee Gees replicated a drum track for "Staying Alive" by splicing two bars from "Night Fever" into a half inch four track loop. "Night Fever remained at #1 for 8 weeks and in the top 10 for 13 weeks.
I dare anyone not to start moving when they hear this song....I'm grinning like a fool and grooving away like it's 1989 lol Keep them coming my friend I love your 'reactions' Waiving from Australia....home of the BeeGee's for many years....
They also wrote and produced music for many other artists. If you want to be blown away, listen to the song Barry wrote for Barbara Streisand, ‘A Woman in Love’. Her vocals are astounding.
I’m so glad I found you of all the Reaction people you are my favorite like I said before your face lights up like a Christmas tree when you hear them and it tickles me.
I really appreciate your reactions to the Bee Gees so much! You are so honest in your feelings for everybody you have been introduced to, I know you really like this group a great deal. Your reactions are always a treat to watch, no matter who or what the video is about, Thank you!
No No No I'm in my 70's we didn't go to the club and sit around and listen to the music, we were dressed to the hilt and barely had time to take a sip of a drink between dancing to every single song til closing.
Their most covered song (still being covered today) is To Love Somebody, I do believe Barry has said it is his favorite song, I like the version they did in the 60s because of the part where Maurice sang. There are a few of the drum beats from Night Fever that were sped up and put on a loop to make the song Staying Alive because the drummer had to rush back to England to take care of his mother, when he got back Karl and Albi (the producers) showed Dennis the song so that he could do the drum part but Dennis though it was perfect as it was so the drum beat on Staying Alive is actually a few beats from this song
They were top of the disco charts back the great music to dance to I was still at school but I remember my mate and I had a dance routine to their song in the youth club Jive talking is another great one from them thank you 😷✌👍
Please react to their songs Reaching Out and Spirits Having Flown from 1979. You are doing a great job on your reactions to their sings. Keep them going!!!
The Bee Gees literally ruled the world at this time with these songs
This song was indeed played in clubs…clubs where we ‘old folks’ were in our 20s … but NOBODY was sitting down drinking anything! We were on the floor, dancing our asses OFF under the disco ball lights. 😂😂😂😂
I had two new knees fitted because of the Bee Gee's, I wore them out dancing to the thier music at the disco's in the 1970 and 1980 we had great fun l wouldn't change it for the world, I'm pleased I lived through these times, I'm not just saying this but life was more fun back then, good reaction to a great disco song. 🇬🇧
Bee gees always brings a smile to my face
I don't think you will ever find three young men who could sing and write their own music as good as the Bee Gees did. The stars were aligned when these brothers were born. They came to entertain and that's exactly what they did.
I miss the Brothers Gibb. There will never be another group like them. Not sure what you have done yet, I'm on my phone on the treadmill. But Fanny Be Tender is great. You Win Again. Oh, there are so many great songs.

BEE GEES next reaction: "Love You Inside Out."
There's no need to choose a favorite dude, because they are all gems so enjoy them all equally.
Watch the utube video called the last bee gee, especially the part where Barry talks about learning to sing falsetto.
The 4 best disco songs from BeeGees (IMO of course) are Stayin' Alive, Night Fever, More Than a Woman, and You Should Be Dancing.
Hong 100% correct !!!!
Yes
I gotta get up for this one...
Hi friend. One of my favorites is Jive Talkin'. Hard to pick just one favorite from the Bee Gees.😁
You have to listen to "To love somebody" They wrote it for Otis Redding, but he passed before the was able to record it, so the BeeGees recorded it themselves. circa 1967?

Disco got panned a lot, mostly by jealous R&R industry, they got a little threatened by the new popularity of Disco. However, Disco was a heartbeat, a hypnotic and mesmerizing call to get everyone on their feet and feeling new emotions! B G's will live forever for their contribution.
We can never go back, but their music can take us there in our memories for a few minutes.
RIP.... Maurice, Robin, and Andy!
Dancing in the club's at 18 year's old , the 70s were awesome.
For those who know disco dancing...😆...I won a trophy for "The Bump" dancing to this song. And, I had Andy Gibb's name engraved on the trophy plate...because I was so in love with him. So much fun watching you enjoy!
This song and Stayin' Alive are my two favorite disco songs
Two months in 1978 - #1 US Billboard Spot and in 36 other countries !! as well - with this tune the Brothers Gibb sets the world on fire the No.1 everywhere ! - with this is playing in the club today - the dance floors are packed full - unbelievable and legendary tune so great to see you reaction 👍🕺

I can't hear this song without thinking about where it's played in the movie Saturday Night Fever. Tony is dancing with Annette at the club.

Love this song most everything they sang I like. Oh hell yeah.
No No No I'm in my 70's we didn't go to the club and sit around and listen to the music, we were dressed to the hilt and barely had time to take a sip of a drink between dancing to every single song til closing.
Classic!!!! yesssaaaa
You also need to thank Dennis Byron, the drummer, who just nailed the beat on this song.
Their most covered song (still being covered today) is To Love Somebody, I do believe Barry has said it is his favorite song, I like the version they did in the 60s because of the part where Maurice sang. I adore The Bee Gees!!!

Barry was soaring on Reaching Out. One of his best falsetto songs for me. I love "Love So Right" as well. Let's hope he does them someday.
