Good morning and my prayer for each one on here is that you had the Best Christmas ever. Jesus is so worthy to be praised. Kayla, thank you for the way you teach and even though I'm unable to get at all your great extra directions I do go back. Thank you for not taking your teaching off the air....many times I've been interrupted but no problem with His Word My Walk (love that title) I can go back any time. I've watched the teaches many times over. Thank you and this will make my News Year even more exciting.

I haven't been having Bible time regularly but I'm working on developing a habit of Bible reading and journaling every morning

I tried reading several times and quit in frustration because I was confused and uncomprehensive. You make things clear and cause me to reflect on my own life. You have become a habit every morning for me. I have a question, however. You often talk about "doing research" and I so want to do that so that my understanding increases. Where can I go to do this research? Are their books to read or websites to visit?

I was curious about the temple being a "den of thieves" I learned Jesus referred to it as a "den of thieves" because the merchants and money changers operating in the temple were exploiting the people by charging exorbitant prices for sacrificial animals. they turned a place of worship into a for profit market place.
I have a question.... I'm also reading from the NLT and in my version Luke 19:44 reads differently than yours. Mine says " they will crush you to the ground, and your children with you. Your enemies will not leave a single stone in place, because you did not accept your opportunity for salvation." I have 3 NLT bibles and they all read the same. Is there a reason your NLT is different?

You know I went into a serious search for this!!! 😉🕵🏼♀️ Here's an online source I use very very often (biblehub.com) and you can search verses and it shows all translations: biblehub.com/luke/19-44.htm Ok I kept digging cause I'm determined, and everything I searched was the way I read. But check this out: www.blueletterbible.org/verse/nasb95/luk/19/44/ So now I'm doing some research into different years? versions? This is truly how to get curious. What I did was go to the sources I knew, but then I copy/pasted your entire verse into the search bar and went from there. Now I can look for years/updated versions... I actually find it pretty fascinating 😉🕵🏼♀️
