In the manga Lupin the 3rd by Monkey Punch, one of the main characters is his descendant, the samurai Goemon Ishikawa xiii His first meeting with Lupin is him trying to kill him, but nowadays the two of them are good friends Lupin’s pretty monkey-like, so do you think their first meeting is a reference to Hideyoshi and Goemon?
I haven't read/watched Lupin the third aside from a few random TH-cam clips, but Lupin's Goemon is a completely different character from Goemon the folk character and Lupin the third is based on Arsene Lupin the thief, I think that's just a convenient similarity. 🤔
I assume you meant to ask "Why does Keiji have different hair color compared to other characters"? If so, it's probably a wig, seeing his design meant evoke the image of a kabukimono.
