Akiba, Sernan Kagura, Gundam, and several others are getting a jump on Vita before they make it to console launches to test their markets. The reality is, is that the Vita is quietly being the deciding factor for franchises continuing on to more potent titles on more potent hardware by testing on an easy to check for numbers of playing format like the Vita. Quiet, perhaps, dead? Not by a long shot.
