I must be honest I was very disappointed to see the Tesla win this Porches, I'm so pleased to know it's being sorted out,now back to Carwow for the revenge !!! 👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Well done, guys. Very professional. Keep up the excellent work. As a tuner for @xtremeracingtuning, this type of professionalism is needed. We are seeing too many dyno-game shows on the internet of pulls and talking about how well the car works with no driving data. Keep the field professional and continue to help the young enthusiasts of what it is all around.
I could tell just watching the C-Wow video something was wrong..they posted a time that barely beats a stock Turbo S. Give Jamie a wedgie for that one 😂
If I win the lotto a 911 Turbo S plus the ESS 1000 package would be the first thing I'd buy, but for now I have to live with my 1000 hp s550 mustang and fight for traction every time I step into it! Lol
So the Tesla is 1020hp to the wheels. I don't believe there is any driveline loss with the Tesla, so why not race a 1000 wheel horsepower against the Plaid, that may be more fair?
The hub dynos are just over 1100 hp which is nearly identical to wheel hp. Tesla's 1020 hp claim is based on 50% SOC. i.e. they under promised and over delivered after learning from their 691 hp fiasco of the P85D which they later had to downgrade and admit it was really only 463 hp.
We win together we lose together...just take the blue shop or King Kongs car to Carwow and show Mat what EsMOTOR IS ALL ABOUT...They'll be in for a show of their lifetime😂
Very interesting. Carwow dont publish data so seemed they were all 0.5 off, do they use a manual stopwatch?😂 10 flat a stock car can down, plaid did a 9.6 when they can run low 9s. Confusing.
@@esmotoruk my biggest gripe, I wish they at least showed trap speed when they show times for their races. That way we could atleast see the cars true power/see if it was driver/tire limited
@@jemery3 💯 If they just used true GPS measurements they could show traps as well. Not sure how they “time” but it’s definitely not accurate or correct, hence why no trap speeds either.
Carwow do all runs with 1ft roll out , so this adds to their times. Also a plaid can’t do 9.1s on a an unprepped surface. Temperature/environment tyres all add to the variations. This is a real world time
Is it really an even playing field? Everyone bangs on about HP figures but seemingly forget about torque, thats what will get you off the line and with that Plaid having 1400Nm, which will be available from very low down the 'rev' range, sadly the internal combustion engine cars will always struggle. Hagerty posted a great video about this subject a while back th-cam.com/video/vcn7tvESreI/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared And before anyone comes calling me an EV w@nker, nah. 911, no matter the version is my dream car. Forget Lambo, McLaren etc. Its all about the Porsche 911.
Hp is acceleration not torque. My 660cc sport bike with 100hp will beat my Harley with 60hp all the time. I have also carried a passenger with me on the sport bike to make the weights the same. Hp is acceleration. Torque is what prevents deceleration.
@Bangabalunga So by your logic, all of those vehicles had 1000hp so they should have had the same acceleration? I disagree and this is the reason I mention torque as this makes an engine accelerate faster from a standstill, or low down when the engine is not running in its optimal range. If they all had the same torque and HP then that would level the field
9.5 would have beaten the Tesla 9.6. However, those Tesla’s ACTUALLY run 9.2 so it’s irrelevant. I’m shouting for Petrol but unfortunately Elon has made tuning companies like ES and Evolve look a bit silly….
Great BTS video of the days events lads! Next time no donuts 🍩😆 team fossil fuel for life 💯🏁
No Donuts and a camera on a Vbox 😬😬
We want to see a rematch!!!!!!

Mid and high 9's still can't beat a stock Plaid especially with the track pack option ⚡️🇺🇸
@@larryc1616 O man !!😳
i knew there was something not right , bring on the rematch at carwow ! greetz from belgium !

🙏🙌
Ah it all makes sense now, no way at 1k hp you do the same time as a stock 992. A rematch is needed! Car wow make it happen please!
I could tell just watching the C-Wow video something was wrong..they posted a time that barely beats a stock Turbo S. Give Jamie a wedgie for that one 😂
Please race your light blue Es1400 shop car vs a Bugatti or Koenigsegg..that roll race will be crazy 🎉
Plaids run around 9.2-9.3 consistently anyhow rematch would be cool, I'm definitely doing this package when I get my Turbo S
Any link to the M5’s channel? I want to know what really happened to them…
The car is from evolve automotive
What camera was used to film this video
Coming for the Rimac? Now sht just got even more interesting! I’m all for it! Let’s go!
🚀💪💪
Please don’t let anything like this happen again, that C wow vid hurt me.
Now it adds up😂. 992 for the win
When I watched Carwow, I thought it was strange when Jamie was doing his donuts thanks for confirming.

Respect
ES crew and Jamie
Top race
I will never own a electric car
Pistons all the way for me ❤

Not really because the tesla weight about half a ton more than the 911
Sure and make them the same weight too or same p/w ratio.
Turbo s is 1200lbs lighter than the American family sedan and more than 2x the price now 🤭

Jamie and rubai proud of you esmotto ✊✊🔥
ES is the real deal
Yeah was wondering why it was running stock times haha ffs Jamie I was raging when the tesla won ruined my full day 🤣🤣🤣

It would be great if they published real GPS data. It’s so easy to use a Vbox or Dragy and then show the results.

you got beat by a ev. Would have the Porsche over either of the others though.

9.2 in perfect condition.
So what’s the problem run it again against the Tesla
