Efharisto, Dimos! Watched your dynamite video recently, was in a rush, couldn't get back to you. You know, I spoke with some Montenegro spearos who had ear issues due to dynamite explosions. Apart from terrible damage to the environment, the shockwaves created with the blast could be quiet dramatic to an unfortunate diver.

Efharisto, Antonis. Yeah, the taste was very good. You know, our boat captain would cook the fish for us, the fish would turn out to be amazing every single time.... I was curious, as 'isn't it impossible, to have the fish taste amazing every time?' Captain claimed that he would only season it with salt and pepper but I caught them sprinkling it with this Filipino spice mix called Magic Sarap (could be wrong with the name). I now believe that using this spice mix with fresh onions will make them taste better than buttery fresh éclairs...

Welcome back Anvar! I'm so happy to see your chillstep hunts again :) Did you paint your divesuit (upper) for yourself? I ve got a new black smoothskin opencell heiwa suit, and i wouldlike to paint white brushstrokes on it, what type or brand of paint would you recommend?
Chillstep ;) Yes! I painted the top myself, the paint that I had was a friend's gift so I have no idea about the brand of it. Just two bottles of yellow and white :) I can say that it was a single component paint and that it is still liquid (I was expecting it to dry out), although it has been more than 2 months since I painted it. Actually around 3 months. The paint lasted for some time, but after 4-5 days some edges of it started to come off... So for sure, its not a long-lasting solution. From what I know you could mix dry pigments with neoprene glue and tinner to make a lifelong camo, but it could be a pain in the ass to get the right ingredients :)

@@mufazalov Насчёт ничего мега...В одном из роликов "слиться с окружающим природным ландшафтом" вроде бы не мега, а в сознании засело как основа или из другого ролика "бывает, что не стреляю и выхожу на берег с пустым куканом"- сильно уважительно для людней которым главное не добыча, а сам процесс что то вроде философического-"человеку важен результат Богу процесс".Редко (скорее никогда) кто из авторов роликов по подводной охоте ( у фридайверов чаще ) озвучивает философию культа воды и природы.Так, что Анвар от всей души спасибо за фильмы с субтитрами.

Спасибо! Мы ныряли на Короне, севере Себу, Палаване. Себу понравился больше всего... До Давао не доехали... Планировали на Шиаргао, но из-за погоды всё сорвалось... Джоб фиш это круто, они довольно умные... Я две смог стрельнуть, но меньше 3х кг стопудово. На них интересно охотится, они умно дистанцию держат :)
@@mufazalov Понятно..,отличные места! В залежке Джоб вообще не подходит на выстрел, ну и у меня не особо то на 15шке 1-1:20 .. не достаточно. Видел их не раз, обычно парой ходят. В тот раз я просто падал на предпологаемую точку и увидел их под собой на 18м примерно. Полность. замер на 12ти и просто падал , начали чуть уходить но все же я гребанул пару разков осторожно и сблизился на выстрел!)
I went to the Philippines to El Nido to the ocean side for spearfishing of big fish. Disappointing. Veroy few fish and small ones.... There is no season and no spot
My wife wanted to go to El Nido but the idea of it being a 'popular destination' would kill our vibe. From what I remember, ElNido is pretty shallow too, you don't have any serious depths for 20-30Km offshore.
@@mufazalov I rented a boat and a French local instructor, Florent, and we went to Cavayan Island and around. I expected to see big fish over there as it borders South China Sea, but the biggest catch was 2 kg red snapper....

Well, its a 1/7000 chance to pick the right one :) But even though the places were overfished, we still loved the spearfishing there. Tough, but rewarding.
@@mufazalov If you need some guides I would really recommend you to go to Balicasag Island in bohol the trip to there is cheap because it's all for 2500 Php maybe like 20 people or 15 can fit for a 1 day tour but always always bring water since that island has no water and they sell water like gold in there.
@@crabbypatty894 Isn't all of Balicasag a marine reserve, right? I think the only guy who can spear there without risking his guns being taken away is AJ (since he grew up there)... They make a fortune on scuba divers there so I think they take it quite seriously that you should not spear there...
@@AntiVaganza Yeah, I know AJ I had been there and I also go to their house every year to celebrate fiesta I even go with him to Dalaguete and I know him very well he's a very good spearo thus he's breath is like 4 minutes+ or so and I saw him spearfished a 20k+ King Mackerel and a dozen of fishes!
Hi Fred! In Cebu we went to Bogo (great place, calm and pretty. People in Nailon were super friendly too). There are few decent spots (Capitancello, Ormoc, etc.) Capitancello can be aaaaamazing sometimes, but make sure not to spearfish the dive spots there. Ormoc was potentially interesting, but the day we were there we encountered bad vis and strong current...

@@mufazalov Насчёт ничего мега...В одном из роликов "слиться с окружающим природным ландшафтом" вроде бы не мега, а в сознании засело как основа или из другого ролика "бывает, что не стреляю и выхожу на берег с пустым куканом"- сильно уважительно для людней которым главное не добыча, а сам процесс что то вроде философического-"человеку важен результат Богу процесс".Редко (скорее никогда) кто из авторов роликов по подводной охоте ( у фридайверов чаще ) озвучивает философию культа воды и природы.Так, что Анвар от всей души спасибо за фильмы с субтитрами.

Мы ныряли на Короне, севере Себу, Палаване. Себу понравился больше всего... До Давао не доехали... Планировали на Шиаргао, но из-за погоды всё сорвалось...
Джоб фиш это круто, они довольно умные... Я две смог стрельнуть, но меньше 3х кг стопудово. На них интересно охотится, они умно дистанцию держат :)
@@mufazalov Понятно..,отличные места! В залежке Джоб вообще не подходит на выстрел, ну и у меня не особо то на 15шке 1-1:20 .. не достаточно. Видел их не раз, обычно парой ходят. В тот раз я просто падал на предпологаемую точку и увидел их под собой на 18м примерно. Полность. замер на 12ти и просто падал , начали чуть уходить но все же я гребанул пару разков осторожно и сблизился на выстрел!)

I went to the Philippines to El Nido to the ocean side for spearfishing of big fish. Disappointing. Veroy few fish and small ones.... There is no season and no spot
My wife wanted to go to El Nido but the idea of it being a 'popular destination' would kill our vibe. From what I remember, ElNido is pretty shallow too, you don't have any serious depths for 20-30Km offshore.

I rented a boat and a French local instructor, Florent, and we went to Cavayan Island and around. I expected to see big fish over there as it borders South China Sea, but the biggest catch was 2 kg red snapper....

But even though the places were overfished, we still loved the spearfishing there. Tough, but rewarding.
@@mufazalov If you need some guides I would really recommend you to go to Balicasag Island in bohol the trip to there is cheap because it's all for 2500 Php maybe like 20 people or 15 can fit for a 1 day tour but always always bring water since that island has no water and they sell water like gold in there.
@@crabbypatty894 Isn't all of Balicasag a marine reserve, right? I think the only guy who can spear there without risking his guns being taken away is AJ (since he grew up there)... They make a fortune on scuba divers there so I think they take it quite seriously that you should not spear there...
@@AntiVaganza Yeah, I know AJ I had been there and I also go to their house every year to celebrate fiesta I even go with him to Dalaguete and I know him very well he's a very good spearo thus he's breath is like 4 minutes+ or so and I saw him spearfished a 20k+ King Mackerel and a dozen of fishes!

Hi Fred! In Cebu we went to Bogo (great place, calm and pretty. People in Nailon were super friendly too). There are few decent spots (Capitancello, Ormoc, etc.)
Capitancello can be aaaaamazing sometimes, but make sure not to spearfish the dive spots there.
Ormoc was potentially interesting, but the day we were there we encountered bad vis and strong current...
