Cedric definitely has top tier genetics. He is combination of Serge and Arnold with the massive chest and arms like Arnold. I thinka lot of people don;t realize Cedric is a full time military guy. He can't just show up to the gym at anytime and workout whenever he wants. I think a lot of people forget that BB isn't Cedric full time dedicated job, so give the guy a break and appreciate his service to this country and whatever package he brings.
Tell us more about Cedric's package... Just kidding. I actually like the fact that he doesn't come in with shredded eyelids and shit. I prefer the pre-Dorian look though.
@@daniellastimosa2405 True, but he quit after 2000. Still, Ronnie was physical freak and the exception. The hardest part is probably the constant eating and dieting.
Have to agree with this. Nick used to be proper but ever since his sub count kinda staled, he's been trying to squeeze every news topic he can find till it's bone dry. Really makes me appreciate this channel
I saw some comments, about why the Tominator doesn't have more subs. It's because he doesn't do daily video's. I think he deserves much more sub's too BTW
Your editing skills have really improved immensely since the beginning. I like the idea of re-visiting an older video that everyone enjoyed. I was watching Mark’s Max Muscle and he had a video showing Marko Savolinen and man that guy had some crazy genetics. One of the best back doubles and maybe the best biceps of all time.
He came at a wrong time. With all the drugs involved in the late 90s, many guys did not last long and only had a flash of greatness. Tom prince, phil hernon, cziurlock, don long, michael francois etc... About savolainen, interesting video of him in 1993: th-cam.com/video/GGmOL_tBkrA/w-d-xo.html
I sat right behind the judges at the 1991 Mr Olympia and Lee Haney blew me away. I'd never seen him in that condition. That version of Haney would have beaten the 1992 version of Yates, but unfortunately not the 1993 version! Levrone had unbelievable skin and tan close up on stage. I've seen Flex compete a few times in the 90s but never truly shredded. My favourite physique of all time is Flex at the 1993 Arnold Classic. It gobsmacked journalists at the time 🙂
Lee priest is the most underrated. Lee priest is one of the few people who beat Ronnie Coleman multiple times in a year . Lee almost made Ronnie quit before he won his first Olympia Ronnie Coleman on his worst loss: “I’m thinking to myself I’m 5’11, got a lot of mass, real big guy. And I look over at Lee he’s all of 5 foot 2 but he was beating me and I was like how is a guy that size beating a guy my size? I’m like well maybe this isn’t the sport for me.”
There'd have to be decent footage/photos to review it, which I haven't seen so far. I _did_ just stumble across a vid of the 87 German Grand Prix though, which apparently took place a day after the Olympia and had basically the same lineup, so might do that one next.
I'm not a fan of modern guys but cedric looks very impressive there. About genetics, edgar fletcher was quite impressive too but had trouble with conditionning.
Your vids are so subjective and scientific I actually learned a lot of things from them and I am actually one of the smartest of my friends in terms of muscles and skeletal structure Thanks
I see the 90s body builders everywhere now on TH-cam ...Flex, Kevin,Chris, shawn are vry active these days online .... With interesting stories to tell..... You could interview them ... Probably ask them way better and relevant questions than some of the others hosts out there
I believe Haney's training philosophy is more optimal for hypertrophy specifically than the balls to the wall most bros and pros subscribe to. All scientific evidence points to that as does most theoretical rationale (biomechanics and physiology). It's starting to get practical support from the best natural athletes.
Ranking the genetics is very hard because at the end of the day we can't determine the most important factor that either makes you or breaks you: the ability to come in conditioned. We can't really say if big Ramy comes always looking off because of his diet or simply becuse his body can't drop too much water. Even if Akim Williams diets exactly like Dorian Yates did he probably won't look nearly as impressive as the shadow because his skin is too thick. Kai Greene kept loosing to Phil because his conditioning wasn't as good. Some people tend to flatten out while trying to get good conditioning while other people don't (Phil Heath is prime example)
I am also sort of new to the sport so these videos help a lot. Are there any young body builders to keep an eye on since a lot of the big players might be near retirement soon.
Cedric is definitely one of a kind bodybuilder when it comes to genetics he should of won more big shows if he could only have getting in good condition
What about Mr. Big Victor Richard's Tomn8er. He had such a crazy physique I believe Joe Weider gave him a pro card without Victor ever earning one. He had such a crazy physique Joe gave him a pro card because he just wanted him to compete. I think that's worth a mention Tom but but much love anyways ❤ 👇🏼 like if you agree
I'd be curious to see what flex would have looked like if he hit his natural peak and never used gear. I bet he'd have had a hard time convincing people that he was natural, w those genes.
The best genetics ever : Kevin Levrone Muscle bellies 10/10 Insertions 10/10 Drug response 10/10 Height 8/10 Frame 8/10 The dude is fucking unbelievable!
I still think Lee Priest has the best genetics of all time. Those forearms and 8-pac mid-section were unique to him which made him stand out, especially for a guy of his size.
Yeah Lionel beyeke one of the most gifted bodybuilders genetically he have it all but like you said the thick skin and probably he maybe not taking it to seriously diet and everything I mean heard he likes to eat the not so good things😂but maybe in the future he will be a bit more consequent and finally nails it and come in tip top shape will see and for the part 2 I thing a Chris Cormier should be mentioned he had some great genetics too didn't to much with it I mean he was a top bodybuilder but could push it farther for sure I thing and be eavin more successful and achieving more major Titels
If all bodybuilders took the train, instead of flying on planes to BBing shows like Kevin Levrone they show up shredded. Add just a little vodka and coffee and you ended up like Ronnie Coleman.
Dude I wish you'd made $1,000,000! If you're an individual who gets upset, jealous, spiteful, or whatever hearing something like that then I don't understand you at all. Be fuckin stoked when people succeed. 👍🤞🙏🙏🙏
Fuck it... comment like and I'll comment again just for the straight up truth thay it was financially beneficial before so your trying it again.... because at the end of the day... we all love to see the genetics discussion
What earns this listing viewers is controversy, e.g.: McMillan - high calf insertions, ruining his legs, no muscle maturity whatsoever Greene - also high calf insertions, high insertions on his lower arms, face horribly deformed by acromegaly Haney - no noticeable genetic flaws Mendenhall - asymmetric abs Beyeke - some of the genetically worst calves in the sport
Very nice. 👌👌 The more money you can make off of doing this kind of work, the happier I am.
