Morning Ryan, what scares me about these large contract is the possibility of injury and under performance. I think the world of baseball contracts has gone insane and it becomes very difficult for the average fan to relate to these people as well as to attend games where the parking cost is $30and the food is very expensive as well. You may be able to find the ticket cheap on Gametime, however
It’s been a few frustrating years but they have built their farm system in the last few years to 3rd best. Seems like they make a run every 3-5 years. As an older Red Sox fan I’m kinda content. 4 in 15 years is ok with me.
@@LockedOnMetsI'm a redsox fan but this actually isn't surprising. The owner doesn't spend if the sox don't have a good farm system and roster that's young. They only sign younger super starts for there roster for long term playing. The owner is smart with the money
I hope we also have a decision soon. Great stuff again Ryan..keep it coming.
Wonderful analysis Ryan! Excellent ! Thank you so very much ! I love your podcast !
The real question is, will Soto do deferred money, and if so, how much do you think it'll be?

Boston already has an insane offense. If they sign Soto and a no. 1 pitcher, they are right back in the world series conversation
Considering how the Red Sox have operated in the past, I’d be shocked if they could pull something like that off. But hey, you never know.

It was all based on a Boston Red Sox tweet
If Soro signs with the Sox, it would be like sticking a pencil in the Yankees' eye. Don't believe it, but if it happens, so be it.
There are definitely worse outcomes that could happen but it would still sting that the Mets couldn’t make a better pitch/offer than the Red Sox.
love your videos! But pls...Juan...make a dang decision already!
It’s not even December. He shouldn’t rush a decision on where he’s gonna play the rest of his career.
Id like to know how many athletes careers decline after getting their "BAG"
I hope he goes to the Red Sox 🙏
