Dawlish Sea Wall Update - April 2023 - Lift Shaft Installation

In this Dawlish sea wall update, ‪@BeachCamsMan‬ meets Jack Brookes from ‪@BAMNuttallTV‬ at midnight on Saturday to watch them install the new precast lift shaft sections.
The precast lift sections are shipped from ‪@ShaymurtaghUk‬ and installed by a 500-tonne crane during the possession of the railway when no trains are running.
In this Dawlish sea wall update, there are two lift shaft sections installed. Each unit weighs about 28 tonnes.
