    This is why I love Beats being part of Apple. They can offer things that Apple wouldn’t want to associate with the main brand (for good or bad reasons) like slightly cheaper feeling plastics as a compromise, wildly changing and often inconsistent color schemes to fit your style and especially changing prices to account for sometimes not as big of a demand as expected.

    As someone who had every Powerbeats to come out (and loved them all), I cannot recommend getting any of them except the Pros. The absolute freedom and security of the hoop, unlike AirPods, make me sometimes forget I even have them in. I love the pros and if you can sacrifice the extra money, you won’t regret it. The only way I’d recommend the wired Powerbeats over the pros is if you never had truly wireless earphones. Then you won’t know what you’re missing out on. Then you’ll love the wired beats like I did before I had the pros.

      I liked the fit of the Powerbeats with Comply tips especially, but I for instance would never recommend them. For two weeks while taking them on a trip, I noticed again and again that while the case had been in my backpack, either the right or left bud hadn't recharged (although they looked to be sitting perfectly inside the case). Besides, the case is so horribly bulky and uncomfortable to open, doesn't hold a charge proportional to its size. Everything is so much worse because of the hoops, as secure as they may be. And then I got a connection issue or two, while on the go, that the Airpods never had.

      I have a pair of Skullcandy but they are really buggy so I stopped using them and waiting for quarantine to be over so I can return them. So I went back to wired headphones and I didn’t mind it so I’m really considering these new ones and I kinda like the cable on these. Also the pros case is soo big

      I used pb pro and AirPods Pro, aside from case being bulky, I would say AirPods is a great go and also I’m switching to the new Powerbeats Bcaz cutting cost by selling my AirPods Pro ans using PB 4th gen and my Anker liberty air 2 which is decent

    2:02 - 3:28 What happened to the rest of the letters there???
    Also, I believe the main reason for why the AirPods Pro and11 Pro had USB-C was for connecting them both the new USB-C charging brick, and either the new iPad Pro or to a MacBook Pro. for the connectivity. Since Beats isn't directly part of the Apple line-up, only tethered to it, it gets Lightning to USB-A, not USB-C.

    I have the Airpods Pro and have the ubiquitous issue of the earbuds wanting to wiggle out during workouts. Prior to those I briefly had the Powerbeats Pro, but they just didn't seem loud enough and I wasn't impressed with the audio quality. However the ear hooks are great for working out. I think these would be a great alternative for the price.

    I have the Powerbeats Pro, I love them for the gym (when I was allowed to go😜) and riding my bikes! I think the new Powerbeats could be a good value though and don’t think the wire would be that big of a deal. I use AirPods for calls and podcasts.
    I reviewed the pros on my channel from an outdoors perspective, FYI.

    • @ElevationEveryWeekend
      @ElevationEveryWeekend 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@patriciabahena721 I love the Pros, they have continued to be great, but honestly for the money the redesigned Powerbeats 4’s are what I would get today. They have the same ear clip design as the Pros now and the wire on the back of the neck is no a big deal IMO

    Powerbeats Pro for the win. Best feature is the hook over the ear. Keep them from falling out. They both have the volume rocker so you don't have to remember which earbud controls which feature. Another great feature is how quickly the earbuds sync to the iPhone. Very easy.

    I have the airpods pro and believe they are the best ever. I wanted some buds for the gym and went with the new powerbeats over the pros because the sound quality is the same if not better than the pros and it is $100 cheaper than the powerbeats pros. Also i think the beats look weird with wearing just one in the ear anyways, so i do not mind the wire with the new powerbeats. I definitely recommend the new powerbeats. Hope this helps

    Have you tried the Aftershokz Aeropex?
    IMO, they are the ideal headphones; Neither wireless, nor headbanded, IP67 (Aftershokz claims they are waterproof), I can litteraly wear them all day without any issues.

    Is the naming an indication that Apple might be ditching numbers for iPhone and iPad as well in the future?

      No, ditching iPhone numbers would muddy the user experience far too much for when support was needed.

    Seriously why you want earphone when exercising? If you are in a gym, there’s good music playing there in their speakers, if you don’t like the music they play then just train to focus on yourself without electronics involved; if you are outdoor, just blend in to the natural sound. All these extra things are just marketing make you feel you need it, just buy for listen music for the times when you doing other than extreme thing like exercise
