It’s a fantastic for one euro, I don’t believe it!
Hi , lm wondering when a house is complete and fully repaired in a good area and the complete has cost me 50k would l make profit
I believe you would need to keep it a certain number of years before you can sell it (5 I think). And even then, it would be difficult to sell. These are not really 'flipping' houses. Most people buy them because they like the town and want to be part of the community.
Im guessing you must be required to being these up to code within a certain time period?
Yes, the 1 euro houses have some requirements including completed renovations typically within 3-5 years. You can follow the link to the site where the details are listed.
I'm really interested! How can I buy or apply for one of these one euro homes? thank you!
Every town manages their program differently. You can check out renovita.net for an overview of the towns, their processes and contact information.
May I ask, when you find a property in Italy that you wanted to buy, how do you pay for it if you are a foreigner. What a acceptable form of payments. Is it cash only? Can I pay with my credit card or personal check to pay for notary public, delinquent taxes, etc? This is in relation to the 1 euro homes. Thanks.
Payments are typically done by wire transfer as this ensures a verifiable trail of the funds. The IBANs are provided in the contract.
Not bad for one Euro. Have seen some that were total ruins.

not really 1uro house
The 1 euro house program is essentially an economic redevelopment tool to revitalize depopulated towns. So while the purchase price is only 1 euro, they typically require considerable investment to renovate. BUT ... even with the renovation costs, they are still less expensive than when you would spend for the equivalent property in another area.
